T3 Silica Wick sub

Hi everyone, this is my first post and I have a question about wick substitution. I have a t3 clearomizer which I like but lost the flavor wick. The wick and coil are still there and look good. The problem is that I don't have any silica wick (its on its way now), so, what other material can I use to substitute the flavor wick? At least until I get the silica wick in the mail and is it possible? I've seen in youtube someone rebuilding an atty with cotton but I just want to plug the empty space that the flavor wick left behind.

Yes. I have T3Ss. Mostly, I cut 2 strands of 1mm in this situation, but I don't see why cotton wool (rolled into a strand) wouldn't work.
Might even be better.... hybrid arrangement ?

I set up a hydrid for my wife cause she's not as careful. Cotton over silica is great too. Just don't roll it very dense nice and fluffy/ loose

Cotton. Just be aware it may take some experimentation to get the right amount. (Less is more!) and the flavor right off the bat will be a little different. Ok, way different, but the cotton taste goes away in time and after that it is an improvement over silica.

Thank you guys, I used just a pinch of cotton over the silica and coil as flavor wick and it worked like a charm. I noticed no taste difference. I just worked. My mini t3 is almost empty now.
