I'm sure you're aware of this already, but you could pop one of those flared "beauty rings" over the eGo threading.
Makes the ProTank look great on a slimmer battery.

Of course, it's STILL dang top-heavy. I use a vape Caddy (that came along with my nifty Vapor Station e-cig supply box)
and a few of those acrylic puck-type eGo holders for my skinny batteries. Shame the fatty 1300mAh Spinners are too wide
for those....

Hey Zip! Thanks for the tip on the Vape Caddy and Vapor Station. They look pretty cool. I use a mod that's just slightly bigger around than a regular eGo battery and it won't quite fit in my acrylic eGo holder. Do you think it might fit in the Vape Caddy? If not, maybe I could drill one of holes a little larger.

I'm betting it won't fit. My fat batt Vizion Spinner won't fit in either the acrylic holders or the vape caddy.
Kind of a bummer.

If the Protank had a better atomizing system.....it would be perfect for me.

I like the thickness of the glass and the heft of it. But the draw is a bit airy and it doesn't produce all that much vapor, and I have 5 of them. I rebuild them with cotton wick and 32 gauge kanthal but it doesn't make it much better. Need more room to use a longer wick , so I can wrap it with thicker gauge kanthal (28 or 30 gauge)....It would increase the heat and the amount of vapor and taste.

But wouldn't that make your resistance really high?

What about the Kanger MT3? Looks just like an EVOD but with larger capacity from what I can tell. Haven't used one personally, though.

They're fine, just like the T3. They are on the old single piece head design though, no the dual piece heads like we are waiting for in the T3S. I believe it was confirmed by Edward @ Sun-Vapers that there will also be an MT3S coming out at the same time. I'm a fan of the metal over the clearo. I have had a few of the clearo style come apart where the plastic is glued to the metal ring. The metal sleeve of the MT3 keeps it together better IMO.

Lower gauge wire has a larger diameter, and larger wire has a lower resistance, so it could be longer and still have the same resistance. I hope that makes sense.

I'm trying so hard to wrap my brain around this, I'm just beginning to understand small circuitry better. Thanks for explaining that. So what we're saying is that by using larger diameter wire, say 30g, we can lower the resistance of the coil compared to 32g with the same length of wire? It's just unfortunate that there's no space...

That’s exactly right, assuming the 30g and 32g wires are made of the same kind of metal. The metal in all wire has a certain amount of resistance to the flow of electricity. The larger the wire is, the easier it is for electricity to flow through it(less resistance).

I’m not very experienced working with that small of wire either. I’m an electrician, and the smallest wire I ever deal with is telephone and computer network wiring.

Nah man! Give 'em to a new vaper!
Just explain that if they like THOSE freebies, then there are other
things that are much better that they can pony up their own dough for. :)

Doh…..if somebody I know acts like they want to get a good ecig, I can say “Boy, have I got a deal for you”. I don’t think I’d give the old-style T3 heads to a noobie though.

For you, yes. I'm just suprised you didn't come to me in private first, instead of asking public. Afterall, you are on my friend's list. Use it or lose it, I say.

Would anybody be so kind to let me have a US address to buy these and have you ship them to me in Baires? I'm running low on T3 spare heads
