And it would most likely work very well ! Plus have a great form factor, be durable, with 5000mah Li Po battery.
You forgot to mention it would also have a proprietary charging cable, bend if you put it in your pocket, be terribly overpriced, not allow you to select the wattage you'd like to vape at, and firmware updates would render it useless to get you to buy the new model. ;)

That would depend on the design team assigned to the project. And then the bean counters signing off on it!

The "dream machine" would be bluetooth capable, wifi, pre-installed apps for coils, diy juice, 7000+ mah batteries, capable of .05 ohms without danger, upgradable memory for storing recipes, ergonomically adjustable for most hand sizes, available in 25 colors, phone and text, and a direct line to your local B&M under emergency contacts. Maybe a good speaker so I can rock and vape on the same mod. And as a freebie, throw in a drip/chuff tip made out of old space shuttle tiles so I don't burn my sensitive lips.

I want a ProVape cigalike and tiny ProVape tanks...
That actually would be doable. FDA regulates for closed systems and established companies choose to regain, or maintain market share. They focus on cigalike market, with high quality and design. I could see that happening.

I like the forward thinking in this thread. Higher mah with stronger drain capabilities and safer chemistries (if at all possible). Batts specifically designed for vape usage is a must and should be a priority IMO. Also, can we get a battery shape change? It tunnels the vision of mech makers.
I really want to see innovaptions, ;) , in the mech mod scene, which could really make a strong comeback with better batts. Don't get me wrong, I love the mods I have acquired, but I'm tired of seeing mods that could pass as a flashlight.

I agree, especially battery shapes ,mha, and ohm capabilities. I read a news article some time ago about a university doing battery research. Nano ion I believe. They said , they are testing 18650's that are 10,000 MAH ! Well, if you could combine that with a 40 amp continuous output ! A resurgence in mech mod popularity would surely insue! But I'm also sure we'll look back five years from now and be like....like we look back to 2010 now and go....only with more disbelief !!!

I read this article online before I started vaping actually. It was really interesting. Didn't really sink in until you mentioned it. Could you imagine not having to charge your batt. for a week or more! But you are right, we're probably going to look back on our vape gear, in the not too distant future, and laugh.
To add to the thread, has anyone thought of some type of vapor meter attachment that could measure what we are inhaling? Something like a voltmeter attachment. Measure the volume of vapor, vapor chemistry, temperature of the vapor, etc. I'm sure every Vaper would want to know this info. And how it changes with our setting adjustments. I know of the formaldehyde research article that scared the pants off people. They used some type of device to do these "measurements", but I am thinking of a real time measurement device that could be attached. Apple would call it the iTip. How about we call it the smart driptip.

Well Yihi, the comany which makes the SXmini S, M class regulated mods has the joules used in real time feature.
