To all that are having problems with leaking, so far I've had the Tayfun GT for 5 months and I had my share of frustrating leaking on all kinds of builds to the point were I was considering selling it, until I saw a video of a microcoil with cotton wick never had a problem since I use a 16g
needle to build I think is 16 it's the green colored one also since the draw was not to my liking I purchased the larger pin for it,don't waist your money just remove the pin all together build a microcoil and cotton and you will see this atty transform itself flavor throat-hit and draw are exceptional never leaked since. I hope this helps a few people Ciao for now.

I never had any flooding/leaking as yet.
When I got mine it had the 1.2 mm tube and while on the tight side it had the best flavor of any atomizer that I've ever used. I removed the tube and that acute flavor went with it so I fashioned a 1.5 mm tube from a clearomizer to get most of it back.

Taifun GS clone now at Fasttech
Quite a different animal from the GT, better have a look here to see the setups:

yes, quite a different animal! interesting little device...

Yes.. Interesting. Not even sure why they would name it a Taifun. Do you all agree?

What is interests me the most is that you could fill the tank above the wick plate with that foam stuff and have a spheriod type device. Yes?

That would be a 14ga if you are using the Lure Lock needles...

You can actually set up both the GT and GS like a spheroid, I ordered some fluff to try as well as FT GS.

These Taifun manuals show different setups

The plastic tank is polycarbonate, don't boil it

Many thanks It feels solid though unlike the Ithaka clone/Hercules tank ;) Any info/link on the different plastics in vaping tanks its all a bit confusing Makrolon?/Plexiglass/PMMA/PolyCabonate/PolyPropylene? Are any better or worse do they all leech BPA?

The GT clone is so nice i was surprised at how good it feels the threads, finishing, tolerances, O rings all look good, anyone care to compare the FT GT clone to any other clones that are this well made?

OMG!!! This may be the answer to my need for my sometimes bedridden wife's sometimes upside down vaping, juice in the mouth problem!!! (Besides the Aspires I just got for her that are working good.) Can you remind me specifically what fluff to buy?

I converted BT-804 Dream Tank into a Spheroid type device, works fantastic but, even with the SS extension it doesn't hold much juice! I just might have to try it out on my Taifun :) 23mm Spheroid, hmmm.

Yup. I wanted to. Had the Dream Tank, but had thrown the one Viva Nova out way back when after I tried it a few times. That was before I was rebuilding. Is there a way to do it with the Dream tank that doesn't need the viva nova part? But, you're right, it was small...

I'm new to the "fluff" and there seems to be several options, but this is what Vapourart recommends
Amazon.com - Sera Filter Wool 1.1 lbs

Sera is tough to find, unless you get it online. But Fluval filter media works just as well. I use it in my Spheroid. You can get it in pet stores, in the aquarium department.
