Maybe you should name the vendor, there are a lot of us who can not identify fakes like you can, or others can simply because we don't have the experience you guys do. Naming the vendor can save some of us our hard earned money. And maybe save a few headaches as well.
the vendor immediately took aw and mnke off their website- he took my complaint very seriously and offered a refund/exchange right away. customer service was excellent. he didn't know they were fake and said they would never intentionally sell fake products. he said he ventured into new batteries and got ripped off. Because of my issue- he now knows more about aw and mnke, but took them off his site...i noticed right away. He will continue to stock Efest and EH only from now on, which is what he knows! No need to give bad press to an otherwise great vendor. it seems like an honest error that was fixed immediately.

Got a Hcigar Taifun last week, it's pretty much indentical to the real thing including the stainless deck and the removable air tube.
They've had problems with the insulator for the airtube blocking the airflow and of course I managed to destroy the insulator trying to remove it, I had to order the service set from Smokerstore.

Felt a bit cheeky buying the service set to be honest - got to get a real one as my Kayfun's haven't had a look in since I got my clones.

I was reading and got to this, I had a problem regarding the 510 center screw. When I make a new coil and check it on the meter it reads 1.9 but then when I place it over my mod it will read different but if I turn the 510 center screw it will read or higher or smaller and it needs to adjust it any idea on what it could be ?Thanks in advance

Do you have an ohm box or multimeter?

With either you could easily test the ohms with the screw in various positions and eliminate either the mod or the atty as the source of the inconsistency. Then if it's the atty we can dig further into the cause.

my taifun gt has "jumpy ohms".....i know it's in the 510 connection.....i run a 1 ohm 28awg microcoil- and it will be all over the place (1.8, 2.7, 1.5- always higher) then suddenly reads correctly...this happens on ohm readers, evics, vamos, anything..i think it's due to the spring in the taifun base.....
any suggestions? if i tighten down too much- the o-ring pops out...kind of an annoying connector...
original taifun btw......

kinda stupid diameter on the poldiac...even though i love my poldiacs, 23mm attys dont look good on them, why come out with that 22.something diameter in the first place? wonder if the v2 poldiacs have a different diameter?

Should I have my cotton wick go into the tank more instead of just trimming them at the chimney? I'm not sure why the wick slots are so high up in the tank, seems like a waste of juice and space.

You need the tank more than half full at all times, unless I'm doing something wrong?

If the chimney was a little longer the chamber can be pushed down farther and allow the wicks to be much lower in the tank

that's just the design of the atty....i don't think it's the greatest design and i have qualms about the same issue- once the liquid goes below the chamber openings- time to refill- but that's probably 4 out of 5ml capacity....so it's not really an issue for me...it does affect flooding however- so the build has to be spot on for those openings.....
i trim right at the openings, in fact- i found that leaving one end about 1-2mm out, and the other end frayed out into the chamber opening allows for chain vaping beastly yet prevents flooding....i use 2mm hollow eko- 1 strand i would imagine its much the same with cotton....try leaving both ends 1-2 mm outside of the chamber, then place your finger over the airhole and give it a tight dry dug without firing, see if that frays one of the ends INTO the chamber....works for me everytime....i hated this atty until i discovered that.

Yes I have a multimeter as it's what I use first to see the ohm before I place it over the mod eighter the Evic or the Smok. Do you mean to test the atty while turning the screw and see if it still read the same ohm? as if that I didn't tried it yet

If it were me....I would test the resistance at the 510 using the multimeter. I would hold one lead against the 510 threads and then touch the screw with the other lead. Note the reading, then adjust the screw and test again. Test with the screw in as many positions as you think needs to be tested to determine if it's making any difference.

I use self built DNA mods as well as both an authentic TGT and two FT clone TGT's and don't get varying ohm readings.

The spring shouldn't have much to do with it as it is just holding tension on the screw. The 510 center pin screw is screwed into a brass disk, one of the coil screws is also screwed into the same brass disk. So the spring shouldn't be carrying any current and should not cause the ohms to vary.

It's exactly what it does to me here and its making me really crazy

I just tested it with the multimeter and with adjusting the screw in different positions and it reads almost same it just vary sometimes a little like 1.9 ohm to 2.0ohm but it always keeps variation but then when I placed it on the Evic it shows 2.8ohm unscrew and shows 2.0 ohm

It's a vacuum feed device. The tank doesn't have to be full up to the level of the wicks, if it's built properly. In fact, you should be able to vape the tank completely empty. The vacuum created by the draw pulls the juice up to the wick ends.

Something like this happended on my Fogger once. It drove me nuts! Took the whole thing apart, airflow and all! Turns out it was the positive post connection on the coil was just a tad too loose and it was giving me weird ohm readings (up & down). Tightened it a bit and BAM 1.3 steady! Hope it helps… ;)
