No, it's not.

Sounds like bad/old O-Rings to me.

Try replacing them with the same size O-Rings from the extra parts bag, if you got one when you bought your taifun, or just take the orings to a ace hardware or Home Depot and ask someone to help you find the right ones. Should be a total of four. One on the top cap, one on the stem on the top cap, one on the base, and one inside the base, where the bottom part of the chimney "clicks" in.

Depends on where it is leaking from, and if the chamber is flooded. If wick is over saturated, juice can drain out the drip tip. Tilting a flooded chamber up, while vaping, is one way to clear/vape out the excess, that can happen when first filled.

If it is a clone, the o ring that secures the pop up build base, can sometimes push down, creating a leak where the stem a funnel meets. Especially if your wick tails are not properly trimmed, and drag the chamber a tad when securing the tank.

Properly wicked, maintained and assembled, it shouldn't leak. But identify where it's leaking from and why, is half the battle.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!
