Hi all,
So I wanted to make a custom drip tip and saw a video on using a pen with a grip to do it. I ended up finding two pens with rubber grips, but none of them had a detachable metal tip. The details of that mod aren't too important, but what I think is cool is what I did with just the rubber grip.
There is about 3/4 of a centimeter of the rubber grip above the edge of the atty, and because of the original size of the grip, it cones into the center, which has thus far prevented any kind of splash back. So why is this mod so great?
1) The vapour on my 510 is substantially warmer because it has less far to travel to get to my mouth, so I can feel the warmth of the impending vapor on my tongue when I press it to the opening and thus know when to start drawing.
2) The air flow is superb, so I'm getting heartier plumes of vapour.
Tailpiping is generally not recommended, but I think this changes the game on that point.
