In a few days, It will be my first month of vaping. I currently have the Twist 1000mAh and I want to upgrade and get the Vamo SS. Is it too soon? One side says go get it. The other one says don't. If I do decide to get it, where should I get it ( fastest and cheapest ). What other things I should get? How is the height compared to the Twist with a 3.5ml Vivi Nova.

Thanks in advance to those who would be helping:blush:

You have been vaping for the same amount of time as me and I say, if you want to try something different then do it. As I said in a previous post, I am going to do baby steps till I finally find my "sweet spot" I know it's out there and I know I will find it. You find yours, don't listen to us, it's up to you to find your own vape heaven! If you feel like you are ready to take the next step then you do that, if you can afford it and you are ready...do it!

Don't order it from high desert vapes. Mines been sitting "Awaiting Fulfillment" since wednesday. I sent em an email via the contact us button on their site and i get this..

If you are emailing us asking for an order update, please keep in mind that the time we have to take to answer your emails takes away from the time it takes to process your orders.

We are still a little backed up from last week's sale and appreciate your patience while we work to catch up. All order status' are updated via email, including tracking numbers. So if you want your order faster, please sit back and relax knowing that we are working on it.

-John

Which is a direct copy n paste from their website. It probably took longer to copy n paste then it would have to type out a quick personal message.

I vaped for less than two weeks on a eGo pass thorough then switched to the Vamo and it has been awesome. Way easier to have a spare 18650/ 18350 with me then a whole different eGo battery and they last way longer. Feels much sturdier in the hand too, I always felt like I was going to break the eGo with a 6ml tank on it. I got mine from VAMO Variable Volt/Watt APV V2 ordered on Friday had it on monday (TX to MI). Cheapest price I found in the US. Use april10 for 10% off.

I do not work for Exhale just very pleased with the service and price

I too took pretty quick steps, from a cig-alike to an eGO bat to a couple VAMOs in a little less than two months. I have no regrets, I have a backup VAMO in-case the one I use breaks, and if that breaks, I have a reliable eGO battery.

I LOVE this VAMO, I can easily say it was one of the best decisions I've made in recent memory.

As for where to purchase, I got one from Best Quality Electronic Cigarettes | E-cigs | E-liquid | E-juice - Exhalevapors, I ordered it on a friday, and it arrived the following monday, and I just paid for your standard shipping, which was VERY impressive, considering where I live I usually end up waiting AT LEAST a week for anything to arrive VIA USPS.

I love this device, and the next device I'll be buying is a mech mod and a kick, but before that I want to find the delivery device I like the most, I'm really really enjoying the genesis style devices, next to that I still like an old-fashioned boge carto.

I digress...Get the VAMO, you won't regret it, Best Quality Electronic Cigarettes | E-cigs | E-liquid | E-juice - Exhalevapors has a fair price, and awesome shipping. I highly recommend them.

Thanks guys! Now what are the best batteries and charger for the Vamo? I know I read it the other day but I forgot under which discussion it was. All I remember is that someone posted a 4 slot charger, and some batteries from Hong Kong.

*edit: Poster said the batteries came with a carry case.

I have these Efest 18350 flat tops. Some people can't screw their battery cap on all the way using button tops in stacked mode. These batteries work perfectly in both in shorty and stacked mode.

Wherever you buy batteries, shop vendor reputation first rather than trying to save a few pennies on price. There always seems to be quite a few battery counterfeits floating around that are pretty worthless.

My thoughts exactly! Don't go cheap on batteries. If you have questions about any particular vendor... just ask about them here and someone will reply.

My take on it: Don't.
U don't need one NOW. That Twist which u've is a pretty good device.

U don't need one NOW.
Want to qualify that? I'm sitting on the fence with about the same decision to make. I don't NEED to smoke either, but my life is much easier with something. I dont NEED flavors, but the further I progress away from tobacco flavors, the less addicted I feel. I don't NEED more than one battery, but the consequences of not having a battery charged up and ready to vape is too great - at least right now.

I'm still in "whatever it takes" mode. I'm not sure if that's in question here or not. From what I understand, the VAMO provides a steady, reliable, sturdy vape and independence from a wall outlet. Plus it's a personal protection weapon (lol - I intend to use the shorty mode). I like the ego types of batteries, but they seem wimpy compared to the vapes I've seen on YouTube. I'm also concerned that their may not be something else at this price point in the foreseeable future.

If the VAMO can't deliver a better vape, then I'm with 'ya.

One of my peevs is that not all vendors all sell the ones I want. I want to buy the Batteries (18350 and 18650) and the Nitecore I4 Intellicharger from all one vendor that has a good reputation and cheap. I saw the Efest on eBay, the charger from Amazon, the 18650 from eBay or Hong Kong....

You'll find that most of the vendors won't have the best of everything.
If I were to order the best of everything I would order s SS Vamo, AW 18350's, Panasonic 18650's, and an Xtar or Nitecore charger.
No one vendor carries all that.

Now if you want to simplify things, here/s a path at getting close.

Smoktek.com. (This is a good reliable Florida based vendor)
If you check the box to add the Trustfire tr-001 charger (not a great charger, but will work)
Also check the box for set of Efest 18350's. (Not as good as the AW's but not bad)
This will get you up and running and it is all in stock.
It would probably be a good idea to pick up an 18350 battery case for when you're out and about. (in stock as well)

VAMO Rev.2 Variable Power (adjustable wattage), Variable Voltage APV - Polished Stainless

There's probably a coupon code, just google Smoktek coupon.
Then, if you like what you've got goin on. (I am sure you will)

Fasttech.com (Hong Kong):

I ordered a pair of Panasonic batteries here and it took 2 weeks to get to Oklahoma, most of which was spent in customs.
At this point you already have bats and a charger, so that shouldn't be a big deal.

Panasonic CGR18650CH batteries. (best deal goin on 18650 batteries right now)
The Panny's come with a case that holds 2 18650's or 4 18350's
Nitecore Intellicharger I4. (One of the better chargers available and would relegate the tr-001 to backup status)

$10.03 Panasonic CGR18650CH Rechargeable 2250mAh 3.7V 18650 Lithium Batteries 2-pack - authentic cells / 2-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$22.16 Nitecore I4 Lithium Li-ion Ni-MH Ni-Cd Smart Battery Charger - with car cigarette power adapter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The code TENOFF will get you 5% off @ fasttech.
The Nitecore charger has the option of adding a car adapter as well.

This would be a path to a decent deal on a new Vamo, then back-ups on the way.

I'm at 5 months now and have been using a vision spinner 1300.
It has been more than adequate for me so far. My vision has taken an absolute beating and is starting to show its age.
I just order my vamo V2 from highdesertvapes ok Wednesday at 6pm. I just got my shipping notification.... I know Someone previously posted here saying Dont order from them. I figured I would give an update, they probably got a shipping notice also.
I paid $85 shipped

Not too bad
http://highdesertvapes.com/products/Vamo-Variable-Volt{47}Watt-APV-(Black)-V2.0-Kit.html
Comes with an additional battery, charger, and 2 CE4 clearomizers... Not bad for $59.
Good luck, and just know that your little spinner is fine.... But who doesn't want an upgrade ;)
