It's just pressed in. If you don't want to save anything else, you can pop out the LED cover and rip out all the "innards". Then take something with the appropriate diameter, stick it through the tube (from the LED end), and shove the battery connector out. I use the same tool used to pry out the caps for refilling -- an old "push-type" spring hook. It just so happens to fit exactly inside the tube. Good luck!

lmao wow, thats no way to treat something that saved my life. sounded like a horor film. haha no i figured it out, i wrapped it with a towel then gripped in a bench vice and wiggled it out with a carto on. came off nice and clean and didnt break anything (becides th obvious, entire battery itself) thanksthough.
check out what i did made a KR808-M
