Keep vaping and listen to the fine advice. As for me, I will quit analogs tonight at midnight. I've never wanted to quit smoking a carton a week after 57 years, but the retirement home will evict us if we continue to smoke in our own apartments.

I've been vaping AND smoking for a couple of months. At first I thought flavors were cute, but not for me, but I now have a stable of them and haven't found one I don't like. Even the lager (hate beer). Guess each of us goes at our own rate. The pass-through on my PC is my newest love, and if I can do this, anyone can. Now I need to figure out what to do with the ashtrays. . .

The folks who quit analogs immediately are lucky, but there are those like me who are going to poke along for a while. My other senior smoker neighbors are doing OK, too, but each of us at our own rate. The ECF has been a treasure trove for me, and Vicky at cignot.com a virtual angel to us.

Congrats John, you made a good decision! Here is my experience, for what it's worth....I quit analogs 2 days ago. I started vaping that afternoon, and had my last cig around 8 PM. I was super irritable for the rest of the evening, had a gard time sleeping, and generally wanted to punch my boyfriend every time he opened his mouth. Yesterday was better. :) Today, I feel great....no cravings.

The thing that seemed to really get me was that my smoking "routine" was disrupted. My morning coffee with several analogs, study breaks to go outside and smoke, having a cig when I needed a break from the kid....weird, but I missed those excuses to check out of my life for a few minutes. For the most part, I am using the vape as a substitute, but on a more cerebral note, I'm being forced to inspect how involved I really am with my family. Huh.

Probably TMI, but thare you have it, and I wish you the BEST of luck!!

Just to let you know buddy. I had tried everything for the past 5 years to give up smoking. Patches, Pills, gum, inhalers etc... nothing worked.

In the past 10 years I havent gone any longer than about 4 hours without smoking a cigarette, and my body would get ache like crazy and i'd be punching walls.

Well 3 days ago I got my Janty eGO, and I haven't smoked a cigarette since it came. Once or twice I thought to myself I'll just go outside and have a smoke, but then vaped and I feel fine.

You'l be surprised how easy it is, but as others have said... dont keep smoking/vaping at the same time... its pointless and a waste of time vaping in the first place!
