I've been vaping for several years, but have been out of the loop with hot new vaping trends for several months. I'm looking to maybe try something new in the way of a tank/clearo. I've used MT3s, Vivi Novas, Iclear 30s, Stardusts, etc. in the past, and have been pleased overall with them, but I think I'd like to try something new.

What's hot? I'm seeing tons of stuff about RBAs and I haven't done much research about them. Are they the big deal now? If so, why? How much juice do they hold? How hard is it to rebuild them?

Any information you can give me or products you can suggest would be helpful.

I kinda like ego threading, but not a deal breaker if they are 510, I would really like something that can have the drip tip changed (unlike the MT3, Iclear, or Stardust), and about 2.4ohm of resistance. I'm also using vv/vw type APVs, I have no idea what the attraction is to the whole sub-ohm and mech mod thing, and I don't have time to do the research or play with that now either, so lets not go in that direction just yet.

Thanks, and happy vaping.

IMO RDA/RBA are for testing DIY juice or filling a room with a cloud of VG. Drippers are for at home where you can sit and drip a few drops at a time.

I'm a fan of the Aspire clearos and tanks with bottom dual coils. There are glass and plastic tanks, ego or 510, fixed or removable tips. I have blogs on them. Inexpensive and work well on egos or vv/vw. Some come with extra coils, 1.8, 2.1, 1.6. Dual coil drain a battery faster. I recoil them with a single coil and they work well too.

Every 510 clearo I have bought seems to be a little finicky. The pin always needs to be adjusted. That is with the exception of the Aspire Nautilus. With that being said I really like most of the Aspire BDC line. Several are available in poly and pyrex with a metal shield. My favorite and most consistent worker is the ET and the ET-S. My other favorite, which is an oldie but goodie, is the Kanger T2. I personally haven't ventured into RBA's or RDA's yet but that day is coming really soon.

One of the newest and nicest clearos out right now (in my opinion) is the Aspire Nautilus. 4 way adjustable airflow, dual bottom coil, 5ml glass pyrex tank, and a removable 510 drip tip. They are pricey though for a clearo, running somewhere around $30-$40. They come with 2 coils, a 1.8 ohm and a 1.6 ohm. The 1.6 ohm is installed and the 1.8 is a spare. They do have 2.2 ohm coils available for them now, I just got a 5 pack of them the other day. One of the downfalls is the replacement coils are still pretty pricey and the quality control on them isn't that great. I don't think I've had a single 5 pack that hasn't had at least one bad coil in it. The up side is the coils can be rebuilt though if you are into that. I am not yet but it will happen eventually and save me a lot of money. Check out youtube and watch some of the reviews on the Nautilus. Another tank that came out recently is the Kanger Aerotank which also is bottom dual coil with adjustable airflow. Check that one out too!
