Tank issue and I've been out if the loop a long time!

Hi everyone, it's been a long time.

so I eventually just stopped using my glv as much without even realizing it, but then didnt have any batts charged and started smoking again
im getting back to my GLV and took out a tank I bought last year, never used. It's a dual coil 510 tank 3 ohms from madvapes. Fits on the GLV fine, but it's like no power is getting to it. Tested a regular cart and it does fine. Should I not have gotten 3ohms? Is that the problem?

Sorry if this has been brought up before. I feel like such a newbie again.

I don't use dual coils so I won't give advice about thtat, though I would think you should get something out of it. I was thinking maybe that carto's center pin doesn't stick out as much. Have you tried adjusting your GLV center pin(up) at all? If you have that option, of course.

I guess I should say I'm using a short extender. The tank doesn't sit completely flush and connect if I don't. It's not the extension, but I will check the pin. I should have thought of that, but i'm out of practice.

Get an allen wrench and adjust your center pin. It should fix the issue.

It might be the extender you are using. I had a similar problem. The new 510-510 extender I had(don't remember where I got it) didn't work. I eventually had to put 2 adaptors(510-808+808-510)on, then the tank fired with no problems.
