 ok guys here it is,
I just bought my vamo Friday with the new pt2 and now when I tighten it down on the vamo I am not getting air flow.
it seems the tank is going to far down and cutting off the air flow. I did put the beauty ring on it and it seem to fix the problem for now.
but I didn't have any problems with it all weekend until today. Is there something with the pin getting pushed down to far? I haven't tightened it down real tight, just snug enough to make contact on the pin. what can I do besides take it back to my local B&M where I got it from? the guys over there are pretty cool so I shouldn't have an issue if I need to bring it back. What should I do?:(

If you haven't gotten crazy with over-tightening anything, i doubt youve pushed the connector down to far, but its possible.

Remove the tank and double check to make sure there isnt any drops of liquid on the connector, then remove the base from the PT2 and double check that the head is snug in the base.

Do you have any other clearos/devices you can test on it?

Worst case its quite likely you can tweak the PT's head to getting it working till you can swing back thru the B&M.

If none of the above helps, pop back in and ill put up pictures of how to adjust the pin on the PT head to extend it.

Ok Xt i did checked the viva nova and i think i did push the pin down to far with that tank, the threads on this vamo are not very good for 510 tanks BTW, i have the vamo v2 also not a v3, i put the pt2 back on it with the ring on it to stop it from going down to far where it cuts the air holes off. i might just hve to take it back and see what they can do for me i guess. if you want to post the pitures that would be appreciated and i'll give that a try. my local B&M is like an hour away from me so if i can avoid going all the way out there that would br good, but if i have to its not that big of a deal. just the gas is killing me!! LOL!!

Bah, that sucks, but there's a fix for that issue too if, worst case, the B&M wont work with ya etc.

On to making the PT work for now.

Remove the base from the PT and remove the head from the base.

Work a fingernail between the head's contact pin and rubber grommet (PIC 1)

Gently work the pin out of the grommet a few mm (PIC 2)

Reinstall the head in the base and reassemble the tank.

You've now effectively extended the contact pin of the PT's head and it should readjust itself when you install it on the device (ie push in if necessary) and should allow the PT to fire.

Thanks guys i just ordered the airflow thingy and i will be taking the vamo to my local B&M to see if he can fix it, if he can't then i am sure he will replace it for me no problem, like i said he is a really cool guy. As of right now i have it working with the beauty ring for now till i can get over there in the morning.

so I had a 2.2 ohm head from my evod in the pt2, that head does not work with the tank. I replaced it with the head that comes in the box with the tank and now it works fine. So I guess I will have to order more PT2 coil heads for it. So for future references the kanger evod heads might not be a good fit with your PT2.
