Have a ibtanked with a smok two hole carto. I bought 10 of these and have used 7 of them with no problems. This one will prime if I use my thingy, but in a few hits it gets a dry hit. I cant seem to get this one to flow into the carto. Any suggestions or just chock it up to a bad carto and start fresh?

Thanks

Before discarding it, try topping off the carto first. Use my method of sticking a wood tooth pick into the center air hole if you have one handy. Drop a few drops onto the polyfill and watch for it to be absorbed. Continue adding juice until it won't absorb any more and looks like a slushy drink.

Then remove the tooth pick and replace it with the drip tip. Do a "primer puff" before vaping (doing a puff without power), then do one with power. If you aren't getting a decent vape at this point the carto is probably bad.

Once a carto is burnt, it will never recover from having a burnt taste no matter what you do. Hope this helps.

Some carto's are just bad, from my limited experience.

But sometimes you can salvage it by re-seating it in the tank. A lot of the wicking has to do with pressure in the tank. If you put your tank tool on the carto, push it down into the tank, then re-seat it back up to normal position. A lot of times, that corrects the problem for me.

I find that having the top of the carto sealed, as in with a closed tank tool, works best.

If I use the open tank tool from IBTanked, the carto immediately floods and drips liquid like a sieve. I'm thinking it has to do with the amount of negative pressure in the tank because of that. So now I always use a sealed tool like the Slap Yo Mama or the one from Phiniac.

Excellent observations. I only have the Slap Yo Moma tool, so I was not aware of a potential issue with the un-sealed tank tool that doubles as a drip tip. Thanks for the tip so those who use the combination tool can be aware of this.

Even though it is more expensive, I've always said the Slap Yo Moma tool is the best designed tool on the market and worth the extra bucks when all things are considered. You just helped prove my point.
