Tank not working

I have a new Genesis style rebuildable tank. It came with a pre installed wick and coil. I filled it half way, put it on a Precise+ 18650. It worked great, after a few hits there were plumes of vapor, then nothing at all, not even a sizzle. I tried three different batteries and nothing. So I tried it on my BB it worked for a bit then quit. I even tried using a 510 to 510 adapter and it made no difference. I even tried it on my REO, using the adapter and still nothing. It is not a short or the REO spring would have collapsed. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? The maker of these has quite a fanclub. I guess I am not one of them.

Which genesis are you having trouble with? Does the pre installed coil look to be firmly secured?

yes, which model is it? is it a ss mesh wick? maybe some pics of the wick if possible? I know we can figure this out

It is stainless mesh wick. You think if I rewrapped the coil it would mae a difference?

Yes and reoxidize the wick as well.Also start out at a low voltage like 3.3v then slow rise when working properly.

The wick/coil that is in it now were pre installed. Guess I have to make some play time today or tomorrow. If not I will sell very cheap. I want it to work and if not, I don't even want to look at it.
