I recently bought a provari everything seems to be good . I have a iclear 30 and its about two weeks old maybe three , when I check the ohms on it the provari says its 1.7 when the atomizer states 2.1. But when I check my kanger omhs it reads the right ohms. Is it normal for oldish tanks to drop in omhs? Or is there something wrong with my device?
Thanks .

I do know that on carto tanks, as the carto ages, the ohms generally drop a bit until the need to be changed. I am honestly not sure if the same is true of coils.

Have you changed the coil recently? if you have another clearo with a fresh coil, you could check that and see what it reads. it should have some juice in it when you check it. When the ProVari checks resistance it actually fires. So, a dry coil may fry.

In my experience most manufactured coils are a +/- of .2 to .3 ohms and yes they will change over time and usage. 2-3 weeks on a coil is excellent in my opinion as I get about 3-4 days on a protank coil before it needs replacing (I do vape a very sweet liquid that will gunk up coils quickly) but 3-4 days translates to about 20-27 ml of eliquid and most all of my coils in different devices last 20-27 ml of eliquid (including RBA's)
