Ok, seems you have completed all the voodoo dances with the cleaning of the tanks, so lets try a new couple of things

First off, it sounds like your atty's are not getting enough juice. So to test if they do actually work, take the tank off and direct drip into the atty to see if it's worth saving- say 4-5 drops and try to hit the center at least a couple of times. let it sit for a minute and then take a drag. If that works then we need to look at the tank. If that does not work you need to work with the atty's first. If you have pushed the wick down, it may be that that wick is not contacting the liquid in the tank- you may actually need to pull the wick up a little. (don't pull it out. ha, don't ask!).
Then, how did you clean your atomizers? I use really hot water, but I do not boil them- used salad tongs and ran my hot water from the tap (my hot water tank is set really high though) through them for about 5 minutes, then did a soft dry burn and let them sit for a while. After it dries, try it again and see if you still have a problem. now on to the tank!
The next thing is this- the little 'hanging chad' where the atty pierces the tank- is yours still there? some people in the volcano forums removed that with good results- use tweezers and do this carefully. If that little 'chad' is blocking the spike, that could be why your atty is running dry.
Next, after you reassemble the whole thing with a filled tank do the 4-6 draws on it without using the battery (dry pulls) never blow into the tank to get it to work better, always drag on it. The tank feeds the atty by vacuum, and if you blow into it, you can get vapor lock and a burnt taste.
what kind of juice are you vaping- specifically how much pg/vg and how dark is it. I have read that the tanks like a mix of pg/vg, it does not like 100% of pg (leaks or little vapor) -or- vg, (clogs the atty fast) also if you have a juice with alot of sweetener it could be caramelizing on the coil, and tasting burnt mine work best with either 70/30 or 80/20, and my juices are pretty light in color.
Geesh, sorry about the lecture, and I hope something helps. I love my tanks, and I have 4 set up on 4 batteries with my favorite flavors. I have both the Inferno tanks by Volcano, and the eGo-T from Cignot. They do need cleaning every 8-10 days or so, but mine have been pretty much plug and play for me.
Good luck!
