Tank questions

I started with some small tanks bought from local shop, not sure what brand they are. They don't say anything on them. I wanted more liquid capacity so i bought some Vivi nova 3.5's off of ebay. Problem is the vivi's give the liquid a burnt taste which i don't like. I notice the wicks in the Vivi nova's look to be shorter and not as thick as the ones in the small tank. Did i buy some cheap worthless nockoffs from ebay ? Where is a good outlet for some good tanks ? Or do i just need to change the wicks ?

If you are using an Evic, are you using it in VV mode? And if so, what voltage are you set at? It could be you got different resistance coils.

I use it in watts mode. I tried adjusting the watts and voltage, but could not get a good hit off it un;ess I turned it up to where it tasted bad.
