I'm not sure if I have the correct terms for these, but I was looking into the kayfun because it has a tank + a rebuildable coil system that's not one of those genesis tanks were you use a big wire and all complicated.

I'm using a patriot drip atomizer right now, and was wondering the biggest differences between a tank type and a constant dripping atomizer. besides being able to hold juice, do the tank ones like the kayfun produce as much vapor as a dripping atomizer if you make the right coil for it?
just kind of a hassle because I'm always busy and I have to take off my patriot cap every few vapes (my drip tip is really tight on the cap)

The main advantage of dripping is flavor. You get a lot more and a bit more vapor assuming you don't over drip and flood it. There are a couple of attys, I think the Igo W is one that have a tank you can take off and turn into a dripper. Why not get one of those and then have the best of both worlds? Of course you could always go the bottom feeder route. One handed dripping you don't have to look at.

Thrasher pretty much summed it up. Dude why don't you just get a proper drip tip? Never understood why people prefer to remove the cap of an RDA/RBA instead of simply dripping through the pre-existing hole via 'drip tip'

I have the "pistol" drip tip from 2puff, and the hole on my drip tip itself is big enough, but the hole that the drip tip attaches to on my patriot is kind of small so it's hard. I like my drip tip too, it was the only one I liked at my local vape store because they didn't have the atmos in stock, but the patriot top is still kinda small. it wasn't a problem with my nimbus clone but my nimbus clone sucked. I'll look into a new tip though thanks!

Ahh, the dreaded 'hole too small at the bottom.' Not familiar with that tip, but when I experience this, I just drill the hole out. Not sure if your drip tip will allow for this or not but man, get a proper tip. You are depriving yourself unnecessarily.

Crap I think I misread your post. Sorry.

I realize this now -___- but I'm having the time of my life trying to take the tip off now. the guy at the shop lubed it for me and popped it on my cap. here's how small the hole is on my patriot, you can't really see but it tapers more inside
