I know ProVape sells tanks for their devices but I was curious if there were better ones out there? I'm specifically more interested in ones that go on tight on the device, where you don't have to worry about them falling off, or popping off if you happen to pick the thing up by the tank, etc...the only one I'm experienced with is the "tube tank" from Volcano...the tank works and all but you really have to be careful when using it, if you do one thing wrong you'll dump your entire tank!

Now that I'm upgrading to a ProVari in the next two weeks, my hardware will be upgrading with me so I want to buy better quality that doesn't slip off like that and make a mess. I'm still sticking with them as far as some juices go, they have the best Menthol I've ever had, and I love their Vanilla too...and I'll never get rid of my Magma kit so I'm not going anywhere...but when it comes to my new ProVari, I want the best hardware to go along with it as possible.

I also saw a vid the other day where someone was using transparent colored tanks, (I think it was a blue tank on a black Provari)...it looked really sharp!

So I'd love to hear some feedback, thanks guys!

P.S. Any chance will ever see cartomizers that go into the tanks and then have to be twisted like half way to lock them in place into the tank so there is no chance of something coming lose? That's kinda what I'm looking for, or at least something close to it. I don't want to worry about tanks popping off cartomizers (you get the idea:)

The tanks provape sell are just your standard chinese dct tanks . They get the job done but not really the best . There are lots of great tanks on the market now . My favorites are the Lavatank(unbeatable in all aspects imo).Nothing on the lavatank will ever come loos by itself. You can swing it around by the top cap if you wanted. The cartomators ,clean tank, phiniacs, All great looking tanks on the provari. Check to provari tank thread for pics.

The tanks from Provape's website are great. I have had no issues with them, especially with the 3.0 ohm cartos from smoktech. I bought a J-Tank along with the Provari, but not a big fan of the boge carto's. The J-Tank is definitely more sturdier, but is kind of hard to take apart. The 3.5ml tanks from Provari are just fine, look good, and are very easy to clean and use.

I keep meaning to ask, what is a "boge" carto? Is that the maker or what? I thought a carto was a carto? Also, I'm going to paste this in from another thread just to make sure it get's answered cause it's pretty important to me. Hope nobody minds...

Also so I don't have to make another thread I was hoping someone else could answer this for me...When you are using a tank system (not the old style but the new round tanks for vv mods), does the cartomizer you buy to use with your tank have to be bought from the same place you buy your tank at? The reason why I ask is because I have noticed that the threaded end of some cartomizers have a different shape than others and are made to fit specific tanks with the matching cut out cap to them. For instance Volcano's "tubetank" has a cutout insert in the cap and the threaded end of their cartomizers have that same cutout, it fits right into the recess cutout of the tubetank's cap.

So some designs I see are like a 3/4 circle shape at the threaded end, some are a complete circle, etc...

If I buy a tank say from nhaler, must I buy my cartomizers from them too? If not and I buy them from some place else, will they not fit properly?

A boge carto is the manufacturer and also known as the shorter size carto of the too. They are the most popular and best working cartos imo. Cartos tanks come in two sizes .You have your regular size(boge) and then a taller xl dcc carto made by smoketech. These two sizes of cartos are a standard and also are made by other manufacturers so as long as you using one of those two standard sizes you can use any brand .Boge is notorius for the best performing cartos. Stick with the 510 connector versions.

Heres some carto tanks . All 3 of them take boge cartos .They will also accept DCC cartos which are just taller but it will be sticking out of the tank. Provapes tank actually made by smokttech is for dcc's only and one of the cheaper tanks on the market

Also provape sells both boge and DCC cartos on their site. Most ecig accessory vendors also sell boges.

I know exactly what tank you are looking for. You want something that may be colorful, and that will never slide off if you pull up or pick it up from the tank. The tank you are looking for is the Arry tank. There a few different ones. Colored ones, stainless steel, and clear. Plus they have a ce2 arry tank, that is a tank that uses a different type of cartomizer then let's say the boge that has a filler material., they are not cheap, but you only get what you pay for. On that site there are a few type of carbonize system let's say the boge. I personally don't like the ce2, but that is just my opinion you can find the arry tanks at stormyscellervapor.com

I'll check those out Junky...so far I'm still game though for nhaler's selection (that's really my style.) But maybe the ones you are talking about are too, I'll check them out later today.

Str8, all of this is just so confusing, it's amazing how much information there is about all of this. Maybe it might be best for me to decide on my tank first, and then ask for help about which carto to go with? Cause I'm getting kinda overwhelmed here now. I wish things were a bit simplier with the world of e-cigs, one site, gets your everything...but that's not how this world works.

BTW the "regular size tanks", what ML size is that? And the Xl too, give me a ML size (this is for juice.) I saw some tanks that someone had recommended on another site (I can't remember the site name off hand but they were hand blown tanks if that helps anyone out. They did not label the tanks in ML sizes but instead in "regular", "XL", etc...that ain't tellin me a damn thing!:) I need ML sizes!

Its more simple then you think . If you look at nhalers site for example you can see the difference in size between the DC(dual coil) and the standard size boge. Its also says the standard size is 2.5-3ml and the DC size is 5ml. When you finally try a boge carto with a tank im sure it will give you a new love for vaping. Boges cartos are the one thing that really keeps me vaping along with my Provari. You dont have to use them in a tank either . The tank is basically just a add on to the carto to hold more juice.

Nhaler also shows the difference in size between the two length cartos.

The hand blow glass tanks your talking about are the Phiniac tanks. They are nice tanks. The LavaTank is also a great tank but hard to get. They all have different looks but they all take the same 2 cartos
