Don't be a ..... The good Kayfun clones are 99% as good as the originals. Even clone haters agree on that. The only difference is that the threads are not quite as nice on the clones and the polish job isn't 100% perfect. The vape is the same.
Edit: The fit between the different pieces tends to match up better on the clones than on the originals, for what that's worth.
I got over that a long time ago when the e-cig manufacturers stole raidy's idea and profited from it. If you've used a Genisis atomizer that you didn't build yourself, you are guilty of stealing from the originator. He gave the design to the world on the condition that it wouldn't ever be made for profit. It's not really about differences, threads or polish even though the quality of metals used are trash. It's the principle and the damage it does to the originators who put all the money and r&d to develop them. If you could afford to buy cigarettes, you can afford a real device. Support the originators, not Chinese junk.

In addition, I would have purchased an original Kayfun if they had been available anywhere at the time I purchased the clone. If the manufacturer can't keep up with demand, then I don't need to worry if they are losing money, do I?
Also, not everyone can afford originals. People on fixed incomes used to have to weigh food vs. cigarettes. Thanks to vaping, and clones, they can get a good vape without having to make that choice. If the manufacturer does not take out a copyright in China, then they have only themselves to blame. No copyright? Then it's not a copy, it's an original in the eyes of the law.
Finally, the item is question is labelled as a Russian 91% and could be considered a clone of that. Since the Russian 91% is only manufactured in China, a Chinese clone of that shouldn't get your knickers in a twist.
You know, I've got to ask. How do you feel about the Kayfun Lite +? Knowing that Sovemesto stole the airflow control design from the Russian 91% to use in that design. Does knowing that that idea was "only" stolen from a "clone" make it okay?I don't use a genesis atomizer. They are leaky, fiddly and useless.
If you had to starve yourself to smoke or vape, you shouldn't be doing either one and your priorities in life are all screwed up. Copyright is just a way for someone else to get their hand in the cookie jar,but It's still morally wrong to steal.
If someone is cloning the Russian, then it is a clone of a clone. The originator would be the kayfun. So they are all ripping that off.
It's just sad. People used to have morals, ethics and honor. Now it's just a bunch of people who are fine with stealing, back stabbing, lying and anything else they can get away with.

What about all the people who bought the clones and were so impressed, they took the time and trouble to track down a real one. I know more than a few of those people.
There are three kinds of people that buy clones. Those that would never have paid the high price of the original to begin with, those who buy the clone to test the waters first before buying a high priced original, and those who can't find the original in stock.
I have a few kayfun lite +'s. It's not the same design and the parts are not even in the same location. Having adjustable air flow was just the next logical step in the evolution. The customers wanted it and he delivered.
You do bring up an interesting point about trying a cheap clone before making the big investment in the real thing. Hmmm, I dunno. I guess that's not a terrible thing to do. You know, if they like it and actually buy the real thing. If they don't like it, just trash it.
