I looked all over that site for ML info and couldn't find it lol. OK I see the size difference you are talking about with the cartos, I never knew that was why...so are you saying a dual coil carto is always longer/taller than a single coil one? Cause I have both a dual coil and a single coil from Volcano and they are both the same size. I even had to mark the wrapping as to which was which because I could not tell (the only way I knew was because my tank came with a single coil) and I had ordered the dual coil one with my order.

the longer Dual coil size are made in single coil too but the smaller size is only made in single coil. Be carefull using those volcano ones in a tank. The ones with the flange on the bottom i mean . The hole they put in it is way too small and you need two holes really so you will need to punch two holes in it.

Volcano claimed they enlarged the hole in the carto, I'm not sure if mine are enlarged or not. They don't seem to work very well although I'm having better luck with this one than the last one.

I don't plan on using them with my ProVari though, I will be buying them from whatever tank maker I go with.:)

Update: I just put my tubetank back on my Lavatube and the thing just doesn't provide much vapor, I don't seem to be having luck with the tank system (at least with Volcano.) I hope I don't have this problem with the ProVari, I'm not doing anything wrong so it has to be the carto system that I'm using here (or should I say that Volcano is using and that I'm buying from them.)

A little update info...

I'm not really sure what the problem is here. I took the tube tank apart and put the cartomizer on the lavatube by itself and the carto looks crooked, something is def off. I can't tell if it's the carto or the 510 connection in the LT...there is def something wrong though.

Also when I vape from the carto only (no tank and just saturating the pollyfill), guess what? I get vapor! So that has to mean the hole in the carto is to small, as you said above.

ProVari please don't do me wrong:)

The tanks provape sell are just your standard chinese dct tanks . They get the job done but not really the best . There are lots of great tanks on the market now . My favorites are the Lavatank(unbeatable in all aspects imo).Nothing on the lavatank will ever come loos by itself. You can swing it around by the top cap if you wanted. The cartomators ,clean tank, phiniacs, All great looking tanks on the provari.
Check to provari tank thread for pics
.

where is this thread? i can't seem to find it, then again I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Is it the tanks master list thread? doubtful...

I think your thinking too much into it . You really need to punch carto holes yourself .THe carto should have two holes. It should work exactly the same as the carto by itself. The device its on doesnt change the way the tank perfoms really .Stick with Boge cartos as they are the most consistant ,Perform the best, easily available everywhere and cheap. Any standard size tank will work with the boge. Tank makers dont really make cartos specific to their tank. They all use either boge or smoketech dc cartos. Heres a link to boge cartos

If you look at that white package in the link ,those are boges. 90% of all ecigvendors carry boge cartos and come in that same white 5 pack. The majority of all tanks on the market use these cartos

Heres some popular tanks

Heres a nice tool to punch your cartos-You NEED< a way to punch cartos

Str8 we have been through this lol, I have all my notes for the sites you told me about. I was telling you, something is wrong with the LT, the carto is totally not str8 on on the device (I didn't say it had anything to do with performance) but I want my tank sitting flush/str8 with my device, not crooked. That is unacceptable to me.

BTW...I am going with a Phiniac tank:) I was sold on the solid transparent cobalt although I'll probably pick up a clear one first.

cool. I was just refering to post 24/25 with the carto punching and boges. Also gave you a nice list of whats out there. You cant go wrong with a phiniac/boge. As far as the lt being crooked. Can you tell where its crooked from. The connector or the carto. Its unlikely the carto so im assuming its the lavatube which does happen. It is a chinese device. That would/could never happen on the provari. THe top cap/connector on the Provari is all a one piece chunk of solid stainless steel . Stainless steel also wont strip easy like the brass connectors.

My husbands take on the old suckaton. Regular old M1A1 tank, long extension cut open and gutted. Then syringe needle ran through the center, and soldered closed at the bottom. Cut a notch in the side of the syringe right above the bottom connector. Fill the tank and screw an atomizer on top. Instant bottom feeder. I love it!

He just kinda threw this one together. We have a new adapter and stuff coming in the mail to make a new one, and once we get it I will see if I can get him to type a tutorial thing for it. Bottom feeding seems popular. The atomizer is a 2.5ohm Cisco atomizer from avid vapor.

EDIT: Inside the tank isn't an atomizer at all. It's a long extension. Oh also, theres a sealed connector to add height and prevent leaking from the side holes in the bottom.
