I've been wanting to get a tank for my x2 for awhile, normal cartos dry out to quick using it. It has 808 threading and ego threading. I don't know if a volt cartomizer would work and just any tank since the carto does have threads comming off it. I know I can buy a adapter to use different cartos. So suggestions for tanks, link provided of the vendor would be great. Also don't suggest the clearomizer from SI or the stardust. I purchased a SI clearomizer it worked great at first meaning the first time I put juice in it. After I filled it again it wasn't working properly kept getting stale hits and a loud poping noise when I'd attempt to vape. I'm not found of the tiping to wick it after juice gets low as well. Any help etc would be apreciated.

I was about ask this exact question. I didn't know what the threading on the X2 batteries was called, since it can accept the regular cartos (which are 808 threading, right?) AND these large tanks. I thought maybe that was 510 threading. I guess I was wrong about that....

Anyway I don't have a problem with the X2 clearomizers, they work great and are still giving me great flavor and vapor production after about 9 days of use and refilling about once a day. I'd just like to know what other options are out there.

I see these weirdo LED tanks and they are so goofy that I feel like I NEED to have one, if it'll work with my Volt X2 that is.
I've got a pack of the Smokeless Image CE3 clearos on the way already. If I can find a LED clearo that'll work well with the X2, then I MUST get a nuclear orange or screaming yellow X2 to go with it. And yes, I do this for the sheer goofiness of it. I like to laugh at myself.

Help us out, oh wise and experienced vapers!
:)

Any wick system will require you to "tip" it once in a while. You can use the carto tanks, but then you are back to dealing with cartomizers that clog up from juice and mute flavor.

The inside threads are 808, which is for your cartomizers and ce3. The outside threads are ego style. You can use the Kanger T2 (close to the same as a stardust) or the 3ml bottom coil ce3 from gotvapes. Gotvapes has also just released the Phoenix raven, which is similar to a carto tank, but there is no filler in the carto. It's a new product, so I'm to sure how good it is. I actually have one on order andit should be here in a day or two. Once I get it, I will put a video on YouTube. It s 510 threaded, so you will need an adapter. One issue with carto style tanks is that they can leak, and when they do, it's a lot of juice. (3-5ml)

So far, the best option I have found for any battery is the vivi nova. But even there you are dealing with wicks, so when the juice level gets low, you need to make sure the wicks get wet.

The LED clearos are ce2. They re basically small clearomizer that are the size of a carto. I've seem them in both 808 and 510 threading. They tend to have flooding issues though. I prefer the bottom coil ce3

Thanks for the reply mroutlaw! I've been schooling myself by watching your videos. They've convinced me that as much as I might enjoy the goofy lightshow from the LED clearos, I'd rather not deal with CE2s. I think I'll stick to the Smokeless Image clearos for my X2. I'm also looking forward to giving their CE3 bottom coils a whirl. If anything new comes along, I'll wait for your review before I do any tinkering.
