Tank suggestions anyone?

Yours and literally everyone else's as well, sir... lol.

I've gotten help and advice from ecf, youtube, reddit, and even spoke with Joseph from Uwell myself trying to get things sorted.

You are right, all of them at high wattages love their juice, but some are a bit worse than others. I know my Triforce tanks suck it down at least twice as fast as my Crown tanks. And I was led to believe the TFV4's were as bad as my Triforce tanks. With as much as I enjoy hitting these things at 140watts and the insane airflow they have, the budget for juice won't let that happen all day LOL.

I find building coils I can get high power builds which don't use as much juice as standard coils.

yea just drip in each of the three coils. you can also close off all the air holes and take a few quick draws to suck some juice in the coil. wait about 10s and do it again. repeat as needed. one thing i would recommend is not flushing the coils when you change flavors. all i do is rinse out and dry the tank and wipe any excess juice off the outside of the coil. then put it all together and fill up with the new flavor. the first few draws will be the old flavor. you will then have a couple more of a mixed flavor. after that you are good to go without having to use 1/4 of a tank priming.

Sorry to keep throwing more questions at you, especially this one as I know it's insanely subjective, but roundabout rough estimate on coil life that you've experienced?

Again I'm just kind of weighing what I've heard from some against others. Friend of mine does reviews on his youtube channel, enjoys a 80vg juice like myself and claimed he didn't even get a week, but I know that week was more or less him abusing those coils testing them out so, just curious.. lol

I don't mean to advertise, and not trying to get into a juice discussion. Just kind of a "Hey check them out if you havent." Thing.. some of my juice I get from Vape Wild here in Texas. Can get 120ml for like $20. It's not exactly high end designer juice, but the flavors are quite good. I'd stay away from their tobacco, liquor and coffee flavors, but everything else is fair game. And hard to complain when you're getting 600ml of juice for $100, free priority shipping.

I hadn't even looked at the list. Their flavors are very good and they've been releasing more and more specialty juices that aren't your typical stuff every vendor has available.

The TFV4 will give you the clouds and the flavor of a dripper with the juice consumption of one. I buy my juice from vape wild. If I vape on it all day you'll find that you're getting a lot more nicotine in each hit and you only need 1-3 second draws out of the TFV4 when you've got it at 100 watts. I'll go through about 10mls of juice sometimes 15mls a day. The TFV4 has got so many coils that you don't need to pump it up that high but if you do you don't need to it it as much either. I think it's a lot better than any of the other multi coil options out there having used most of them. It's just an all around amazing tank. Very easy to refill. The coils will last you a good 2-3 weeks. I would definitely give it a shot man. It's definitely a game changing tank.

Awesome... yeah I noticed on one site they're even releasing some Clapton coils for it soon too... that's insane, I have a dual on my kennedy v2 clone and love it. And good to hear the coil life, however subjective, is pretty good. Pretty much anything over a week I'm willing to accept. With the price of coils, I just can't justify these Crown tank coils lasting me all of one week tops, you know?

yea 23 weeks is decent for a coil unless your mod never leaves your hand. also, you could also try the R2 back with the dual coils. it has some excellent reviews. less vapor and flavor when compared to something like the stock quad coil but they also use a lot less juice. also, if you can just rewick it whenever you want. honestly if you want some great flavor and clouds but coil price is a bit of a concern try the crown tank. the coils are half the price. or just get one of each. thats what i did.

If you build your coils then I recommend also getting the R2 rba (sold separately, about $10).

This is what really sold me on the TFv4. A tank with a dual coil rebuildable deck.
Vapes like a cloud monster, like if I was dripping on dual coils. It's awesome. And I don't notice it guzzling an extraordinary amount of juice either.

I absolutely love my TFV4. I can't give a full review on it as I only received it yesterday. I am using the stock triple Coil that it came with but plan on picking up the dual RBA and some quad coils and even some sextuple coils just for grins. If it keeps performing the way it is now and the coils have decent life, then I will be purchasing another one and my brother will be getting 1 for Christmas along with a bigger mod to run it on. Awesome Flavor and clouds. Yes it does drink the Juice. I have gone thru almost 30 ml since yesterday afternoon, but like someone said, you are not completely emptying the tank as you are refilling it when the juice gets to just above the air holes. Also my day off and I was chain vaping

My bad luck with the Crown and it's coils is actually why I started the thread.

Have 5 Crown tanks. I've bought from different vendors. Some black, some SS. Bought the coils from several places, even had Uwell send me a pack cause my others that came with the tanks hadn't lasted a day.

Used them on various mods, never going above 80watts, usually 70-75.

Tried high pg, high vg, juice from different vendors.

Tried breaking them in as people suggest building up your wattage, also tried just priming it good, letting it sit a few minutes and going straight to 70watts...

No matter what, I get about a week TOPS, from them, and that time is actually divided between multiple tanks, so I'm actually getting a few days from each one.

I want to love this tank. The flavor, vapor production, air flow, etc are excellent for how I vape when not dripping (which is anytime I leave the house) but I just can't make the coils last for me, not sure what I'm doing wrong, and I feel I've tried pretty much everything.

If you have any thoughts or ideas I'm all ears, because buying new coils would be a lot cheaper than new tanks LOL...

honestly with how much you vape i think that the dual RTA base would be great for you. cotton is cheap when you need to rewick. the coils themselves last a while. you can also give them a gentle scrub whenever you rewick to extend the life a little. i have also heard that the SS coils themselves last a bit longer before getting gunked up. just pick up a coil master tool, some pliers, wire cutters, cotton, and SS wire and have at it. for less than the cost of 5 smok coils you can have a complete kit to make your own and you will get a lot more than 5 out of it.
