I do not enjoy carto tanks, at all. Although I'm probably using crappy cartos (the ones that come with and are sold for the u-dct's)
However, vaping my AGA-T+ with glass tank is... amazing.

Maybe my local store is just selling me cheap products. Every puff taste like plastic... changed 3 coils this week and it's only Thursday. Washed this one 2 times today. Got some nice taste, then 
What tanks are we talking about here? Carto-tanks? Tank and atomizer systems, AKA the eGo-T/C? Atomizer tanks like the Reactor or Amp tank? RBA's, or even an RBD in a tank? Clearomizers? And then, which model? They all vape differently and work slightly differently.
Saying tanks suck doesn't tell us anything other than that your tank sucks.

Hmmm... I use carto tanks, clearos, T3 and Evods, Novas, Vivi Nanos, and straight up cartos.

I wonder if those who report clearos tasting "plasticky" are using a juice that leaches some of the tube? I started on cartos and clearos - CE5 style - and had no issues, except with one, which definitely did taste plasticky. Same clearo, different juice, not a problem. Same juice, different brand clearo, no problem either.
Some juices are known "tank breakers", and maybe that's the issue?

Yea, especially citrus flavored e-liquids, I hear they are too acidic for some plastics/tanks/clearos
Different e-liquids use different things for their flavors, so it makes sense that some might react negatively to the plastic used in clearos/tanks.
Just like drinking soda, milk, beer, or different drinks. Some just taste like CRAP in plastic cups, in fact certain drinks I will ONLY drink out of glass.
