Hi,

With my ecig being 1-2 days away from reaching me, I was wondering: Is it a good idea to boil the tanks before first use? I am referring to Kanger Protank II, but I assume it's a valid question for all glass/metal tanks.

Are there any other one time cleaning procedures to make them as sterile as possible before use? I would douse them in alcohol and then set them on fire, but I am afraid of staining the metal and/or breaking the glass tank.

Thanks!

i wouldnt boil them but maybe place in a bowl of hot water,(what I do). or just open the pack fill it and go. tupperware containers with hot water, drop them in put on the lid and shake for a minute works for me

This is what I do, also. Piping hot water bath, straight from the tap. I let'em sink for a little while, pull'em out, and let'em dry.

I've never bothered with alcohol, vodka or vinegar and never had a problem.
