Tanks going cloudy

Hi ECF,

I recently purchased some melon flavored concentrates and mixed up a batch of it last night.

This morning I woke up to find the tank I have put it in (Boge F16) has gone rather cloudy. This has never happened to any of my other F16 tanks. I have heard of juices cracking tanks (never happened to me) but never heard of them going cloudy.

Would this suggest that the juice has reacted badly with the plastic tank? If so I assume that I should throw the tank out and only use this melon flavor in my kayfun without the clear window?

Pic below of my other F16 tanks that aren't cloudy:

Any help suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers :)

1: cracking/cloudy : basically the same thing.
Some liquids react with some plastics; if you keep using a liquid which reacts with the plastic eventually the plastic gets so thin it will physically crack / break.

2: best to use glass tanks.

If you use a white/fuzzy type of plastic you'll end up merely not seeing the problem.

You can give that thing a thorough wash.
