Thanks JenJen! Helpful as always! I think we posted about the same time! Yeah, I know all about your stash! Like I said, I've still got the mod, and funds are tight, as always, so I was trying to find the best way to revive it and get going with best bang for buck! Seems these might be the ticket!

Could you PM me your address? I have some things that could help bolster your start up and get you going... I can throw in some juice too if you tell me what juices you used to like and I have something similar. We really need to get you off the cigs and back on the vape! :)

I greatly appreciate the offer, but you have already done so much for me in the past, I can't take advantage of your generosity! The other problem is I have no idea what I'm going to like this time! I've got some old juices around I'm planning on trying, today maybe, to see what my taste buds want.

Sure you can! ;) I would love to help!

Well, I just about had a catastrophe here! Dug out my mod, that had been sitting for two years with a carto on it and pulled the center pin out of the connector! I managed to get it apart and soldered back, it's working again, just waiting on the potting to set up on the switch now! That could have been bad!
Been trying to charge up batts, they seem to be taking, but wont function so they are soaking in alcohol right now, see if that helps? But being two years old my expectations are pretty low on that!
I tried one of my pre-filled Hilton carts on the mod, next to no vapor and less flavor, I think they are done! Once the mod has set up enough I'll try filling a couple of blanks with the old juice and see if that works. Again, two years old so low expectations on that as well!

Got my "care package" today JenJen! Thank you so much! Still trying to figure out when the EGO is charged? The carto's for it hit good on a batt, but not it, so I stuck it on the charger, but the lights green all the time?
I'm curious about the other "toy" you sent, charging it up as well now.
I do understand about the tanks now, it's not "tight", it's not "airy" but it's not as much hit and vapor as you'd expect/want. Maybe I can find a way to improve that!
Again, thank you SO MUCH!!!

Glad you got it! I actually charged it before I sent it out so it should be fully charged. The only thing I can think of is that it isn't making contact. I had that happen a few times with a mega carto, so I (very gently) pried the post on the carto up a little. (Experts here have said NOT to mess with the battery). Just get something small (like an unbent paper clip) stick it a little into the hole and gently pull up. Then turn the battery and pull again, and turn the battery and pull again so it has been lifted up (just a hair) all around. Then try it again. This has always fixed it for me the few times it has happened. I used to do the same thing when a regular carto wasn't hitting. Did you try the other mega carto on it? As for tanks - I liked them, but just kind of messy IMO

Just FYI - I fully charged all the batts I sent you! Including the other "toy"! (You make it sound like it was a sex toy lol - people, it was just a mod! Honest! ;) ) The cartos I sent you are only 18's, but I thought at least you can get a sense of flavor and see if you like any of them. Just hope this gets you off to a good start and gives you some back ups! Enjoy!

Well, I'm a little late to this party, but FWIW Saw, I :hubba: my Ego with a tank. I use the 6ml tank (lasts me all day) with a 2.0 SC carto. That tank/carto combo also works very well for me on the Titans & VK Diamonds. I use XL stick batts.

I invested a crap ton of money in Titans, then V4L tempted me with a sale on the Ego 2 batt kit, and I bit. Been loving it ever since.

Happy Vaping! :smokie:

I hear that, Saw.

So here's my vaping journey of 7-1/2 months.

Beginning: I want an ecig that's like an analog. I would never use those tanks or mods. They are so clunky and ugly. :smokie:

Couple months ago: Ooooh, I really like using these tanks with my Titans. What awesome vapor! :w00t: Yeah, the tank is big, but so what?

Last week: OMG! This Ego is amazing! It lasts all day with my tank. What? What clunky? What ugly? This Ego looks hip with a 6ml tank on it... :headbang:

I have to say the EGO size is just about PERFECT!!! JenJen hooked me up good there! Going from my BB mod to that was night and day! Not much voltage difference, but enough you noticed it! It fits in a pocket nicely and doesn't fall out, like my 18650 mod does! I wont badmouth the EGO one bit! It's a very nice unit for sure!
My problem is I am hard on things! VERY hard on things! I've dropped my new one twice and cringe every time I do! This is why I carry the BB when I'm working outside anymore! I've lost many a V4L Battery dropping it while framing a house, running the skid steer, etc. The light flashes a few times and done! I'm not sure the EGO would put up with that as well either? But I'd sure hate to drop it and find out it doesn't!
But when we all start we want something as close to what we are using as possible to make it an easy switch. Then, as I'm sure you have learned, cleaning, filling and taking care of carto's just gets tedious! When you have settled on one or two juices you like, tanks are just plain easy after that!
