Hey, been using ecigs on and off for a couple months. started with an ego. I recently purchased an itaste mvp and am looking for a good tank that will work perfectly with the mvp. No leaks preferred. Ive heard problems with protanks and other tanks so thats why i made this thread.
Im also interested in learning about the rebuildable tanks, genesis?, like aga t2 or other options.

Well my MVP came with the iClear30. I am not a huge clearomizer fan, but this one works really well. It has 16 wicks (4 on 4 sides) so you never get a dry hit. It does hold less juice then it says it does, because the wicks are so good at wicking so you never want to fill it past the 2.5 ml mark. It provides a great amount of vapor and a good throat hit. It has a slight tight draw but not as bad as the eGo clearo starter kits. It is not glass so I assume you have to watch what juice you put in it, but so far I have not had a problem. It is easy to fill and easy to clean. There is also the iClear16, I have not personally used them, but they also can come with the MVP. I believe it is really the same as the iClear 30 but just a smaller tank. I don't think it has as many wicks as the iClear 30, but with a smaller tank you don't need it.

As for the Protank, I loved it when I had it. I never had any leaking issues, it was just the base broke off after a small drop. It wouldn't fire on my MVP, but would on my eGo Twist. Then it stopped on my Twist and I realized the threading broke off. I have seen that this is a common occurrence and that there is news Kanger is fixing this. In the mean time, I am waiting for discountvapers.com to get more base replacements in. If I still have issues with that, I will stop using the Protank, but it was really awesome when it worked.

If you like cartos, Smokteck has a new DCT glass/pyrex tank out. I haven't used it but have heard good things. Personally I like the Boge cartos better. I think they give a stronger hit and more flavor.

I'll put my marker down on a vivi nova - a genuine vivi nova from vision. I have a mini metal and I love it. No leaking issues, easy to fill, smaller profile than most tanks and no worries about which juice you are putting in it as it's metal. It's 510 threaded so it should just screw in no problems.
Add in excellent vapor and taste (like zero dry hits on a top wicking device is rare) and reasonably easy to rebuild, and I think they are a good all-round clearo.
