Tapatalk connection issue

I keep getting a "fail to connect" and "HTTPS" issue when I try to log in. Anyone know of a solution?

I'm afraid that ECF is no longer supported by tappatalk since we moved to xenforo.

Fortunately the mobile browser interface is great so we can open it with any web browser on our phone

You can searched about ecf moving to xenforo if you want more detail about the changes.

I noticed that yesterday, right after the change over, and into last night, Tapatalk worked fine. Today it isn't. I wish it did. I had gotten quite used to Tapatalk, and liked it.

Yes, yesterday it was working fine. Now that I have to use a browser it's way slower to get in and out of threads.

I like Tapatalk too. My favorite features are the Timeline and Participated posts where I can quickly see what's new (whether or not I've read it) and quickly see activity in threads that I've posted in. I haven't found this functionality readily available yet in the browser, but I haven't investigated it too much yet.

Some had success un-following ECF, then follow. Now Tapin works, yahoo.

You actually don't need to uninstall Tapatalk. Just go to your phone settings - > applications - > lookup Tapatalk - > wipe data

It will reset tapatalk to initial settings but since your definitions are stored on Tapatalk servers, once you login on Tapatalk, it will retrieve them and populate all your subscribed forums

I uninstalled Tapatalk HD on my iPad and then reinstalled it. Now ECF works again on both my iPad and my iPhone using Tapatalk HD.

Note: Clearing the cache didn't work for me because it would lock up the app and not clear the cache.

Interesting. I didn't really have to do anything. Tapatalk just seems to be working today.
