Others say you charge it for the first time when it's empty. and a very few say charge it for 8 hours just incase. i my self with with the 1 hours use 20 mins charged for 3 hours. with 2 of my battaries and the other 2 i got i charged for a full 8 hours and i don't see any change.

Well that sounds awsome, but I am worried I will screw up the battery, is there more discussion on this somewhere?

Lithium-ion is a very clean system and does not need priming as nickel-based batteries do. The 1st charge is no different to the 5th or the 50th charge. Stickers instructing to charge the battery for 8 hours or more for the first time may be a leftover from the nickel battery days.

If you have a multimeter check the batteries voltage
charge the battery until its at standard voltage

I always check the battery with a multimeter after charging
and have noticed that the chargers I have aren't very accurate
so I normally let it charge a while after the green light comes on

P.S.

WOW! You've got a hundred posts and you ain't vaped yet?
