I just purchased a Tassimo brewing system. I can't drink coffee, but like some of the specialty coffee drinks. They also had the Keurig system. I don't have time to do research....Anyone with experience with either of these????
I'm a bit of a Keurig nut, and prefer the K-Cups for the variety that they offer. Huge range of brewer sizes too, from single cup to office size machines.
I haven't seen too many mochas and such for the keurig(my hubby bought me one). I would rather have had the Dolce or Tassimo for the starbucks style stuff. The Dolce is nescafe and has some tasty looking flavors, and the tassimo has some nice looking cappachinos also. Keurig.com lists all their flavors not much stuff outside the just flavored coffee catagory.
I use a Keurig every day. Got one of those screen holder things so I can put whatever I want to brew in it. I'm not sure how vast their latte/specialty drink selection is, but chai tea lattes are one of my personal favorites and I had no trouble finding those for mine.
The Keurig only does coffee, tea, apple cider and hot chocolate. It actually brews coffee and tea but the hot chocolate and apple cider are just K-cups with powder in them that dissolves when the water passes into the k-cup and then goes out the bottom. I would say the Tassimo is probably a better choice for you personally. It's also easier to find the flavors for the Tassimo vs. the Keurig (unless you live in the US or near a border since the variety in Canada is very small).
I've noticed that Keurig variety is limited here...I've decided on the Tassimo. I just finished a Cappuccino...very nice! Thanks for the opinions, guys!
Ummm...Just what I need...almost four gallons of coffee, for just me! LOL! Hubby doesn't care for coffee, as a rule, and too much upsets my stomach. I just want something so I can offer a guest a choice of tea, coffee, a Latte or a Cappuccino.
