No link to the study....sparse details....give me a stinking break.

More hog-slop journalism.

Right? Let's take aspartame. We all know it's bad for us, right? The media has been telling us that for decades now.

The article says drinking over four cups of coffee a day could be hazardous to your health.
Interesting, I drink three times that just waking up in the morning and then generally drink coffee all day. Last time I saw the Dr, she was a little concerned about how low my blood pressure was.

Do they define the size of the "cup"?
Do they specify the type of coffee?... the roast?... bean or grinds (as purchased)?

This coffee good/bad thing has been going on for DECADES. One week it's good, the next week it's bad.

They can just bite me.

Interesting, I drink three times that just waking up in the morning and then generally drink coffee all day. Last time I saw the Dr, she was a little concerned about how low my blood pressure was.

I drink anywhere from 1/2 to a whole pot (12 "cups") per day, every day. I can drink what I consider 2 cups/mugs (actually probably more like 4 "cups" because I like to drink it from 16 oz styro cups since they stay hotter longer) on a weekend morning & then go right back to sleep, no problem.

My blood pressure is completely normal, maybe even a bit low, despite the fact that in addition to all that coffee consumption I'm also diabetic and that's associated with a tendency to develop high blood pressure (so I only recently found a doc who doesn't insist that I take blood pressure medicine despite my protests that I don't need it - doctors can be idiots too - glad I finally found one who isn't).

However, I do have an abnormally fast heart rate (avg 100 - 120 resting, whereas normal is 60-80). I don't know if that's from coffee, nicotine, just my own body's idiosyncrasy or a combination of them all. I don't have racing heart symptoms, an arrythmia or anything else that might make the doctors (even the past idiots) concerned about it though. I've asked and they all just shrug their shoulders & say not to worry about it since it seems to be normal for me.
