Does anyone (else) notice a slight difference in taste using the T-Tip?
I love this thing but I vape a subtle flavor and it's lost when using the T-Tip. I've been using it all day and hopefully it will start to come around. I dunno... I noticed this before I got the T-Tip when I made a pen rubber-grip mod. Same kind of taste.
I don't think this would be noticeable with strong/sweet or fruity flavors.
Anyone know what I'm talking about or experienced a change in flavor?

I'm using a 510 atty.

Yeah, that's probably it. After I had been vaping for a couple of hours I thought, this thing was machined and had to lubed while being cut and got a q-tip dunked in alcohol to swap it our. Sure enough there was some black on it. I kept doing that until it was white. By this time I think my taste buds were screwed up.
After reading your reply I decided to wash with soap and water and change atties. Seems much better, so I dripped a little red bull in (which is not subtle) and taste was as expected.
I've got an aluminum shorty coming but so far I love the stainless. I don't think I'll really know about the taste issue until tomorrow as I think by taste is shot.
Trust me, I want this to work because as far as everything else I love it. For those of you who think it won't drip well or that you may get juice on your lips, you can put those fears to rest. It works wonderfully and looks great on my AdapteveR with a stainless atty.
I'll come back in a day or so and update this.
In the meantime everyone getting a new T-Tip should wash it good with hot soapy water prior to use.
Forget about those cart mods... with the T-Tip you'll never look back.

Yeah, definitely wash the ttips when you get them in (and for that matter, not a bad idea to wash them with soap and water everyday). There is no doubt machining lubrication residue down in the ttip when you get it. A qtip helps also to clean out the hole of your ttip:)

Just another reason why you should have named the company Super Q Manufacturing and hence the "Q-Tip" instead of the T-Tip.

"Swab your Q-Tip with a Q-Tip" could have been the slogan.

*sigh* You never listen to me. Such grandiose ideas wasted...

I've now really cleaned it. Hot soapy water and liquid soap on a q-tip.
The taste is no longer bad but when using BestECiggy slow-cured, my all day vape there is definitely reduced flavor. If you've never vaped this flavor I imagine it's like Ultrapure non-flavored or some other juice with a very subtle flavor. I don't notice a reduction in flavor with red-bull, cigar or other stronger flavors but with the slow-cure I do. Almost like vaping straight VG.
I think using a T-Tip the atty may burn just a slight bit hotter because it may be receiving more oxygen... I dunno but this is the only thing that seems to make sense.
I might order some of the cheaper SLB510 attys 'cause I hear they don't burn as hot and see if that makes a difference. Hope they come in stainless/silver. VaporCountry is out of 'em so I don't know where to get.
I love the T-Tip so I really want to figure something out because I also love the slow-cured. It's only a slight difference but enough to bug me.

So again I ask if anyone who vapes a subtle flavor has noticed a slight reduction in flavor?

EDIT: This sounds a lot more negative than I intended. The taste seems to be improving. Maybe my taste buds or my draw are adapting. I can't ever imagine going back to carts.

thats why my e-juice tasted better with the t-tip....machining lubrication.
