taste buds flipping out ?

the same stuff i have been vaping for the past month now tastes like saline. i do not get it . i thought maybe it was due to my 808 battery being dirty . i cleaned it and still seems to have the taste some . at this point i am getting discouraged . i can handle it not tasting great but i can't handle it tasting like crap . do i just need to find another flavor for a while ? i have really only found one flavor that i do like .

I cannot imagine your battery being dirty unless you are using an automatic unit and you've been dripping down into the battery, which will eventually destroy your battery. More than likely, either your e-juice is bad or your atomizer is clogged.

Do you use a cart with polyfill? If so, make sure you are using a clean one. If that doesn't help, try a different atomizer. If that isn't it, your juice is messed up. Maybe it seperated or something.

If it's the atomizer, I'd start rotating them and draining the one you used that day over papertowels while you sleep and let it rest the next day while you use the other one...switch back and forth....keeps them from getting so clogged.

these are brand new carts actually . the batteries are manual and had some black gunk in them .

kinda like resetting them ? i know when i eat too much of them same food it starts to taste nasty .

also i do rotate about 50 carts . right now they are all new the first 30 were great these last few though just blah .

These are prefilled carts? If so, that could be your problem. You never really know what you have there.

they were blanks i filled myself with 20 drops each all the same juice from same bottle .

I stopped doing that all at once. I did that a couple of times, and found out that after a couple of days of them sitting there something happened and they tasted different, so now I clean and dry the carts and leave them empty and just drip right before I use them.

I think you'd have to seal them in plastic to retain the taste....or maybe that's why all the prefilled carts you get from suppliers taste so nasty.

yeah i see your point . this cart seems to be getting better the more i vape it , it is 555 maybe i will try some strawberry for a bit, just was not too crazy about it due to it kinda tastes like cough syrup .

I'm not into the juicy, sweet flavors either. My favorites are 555, Ry4, B&H (myfreedomsmokes tastes really good), RK/TAB, and Puresmokes Riskee Juice. The only one I've found that I like somewhat so far is Lemon.

You don't mention what type of liquid it is that you got tired of... that would make it easier to give suggestions. Most people get "burned out" on a flavor if they vape it exclusively for any length of time. Some people (like me) will rotate through as many as 3 or 4 flavors each day.

try some tobacco from Tasty Vapors , I have been using it from the beginning and it still tastes good !!
( It sounds like you want tobacco flavor!! , I have tried several other flavors and they SUCK IMO ! watermelon ehhh , strawberry yuk , etc. etc. )

Seriously try the DK-TAB, then. I haven't had a chance to try my Tasty Vapor tobacco flavor yet. I got it in yesterday, but my order also had Atomic Fireball in it, and I just can't get enough of that stuff. It really surprises me how much I like it, since I have no use for the candy.

Of those you listed, I've tried cowboy , camel , and french pipe. I didn't like them. I just tried some Winston from MyFreedomSmokes.com, and it tasted very close to an actual cigarette to me. I don't like it much, because my tastes have changed to the point that I hate the taste of cigarettes. Don't get me wrong, MFS has awesome tasting juices, I just don't like the Winston, or the RY3. I love the RY4, of course, almost everyone does.

Most fruit flavors taste like perfume to me, and I can't stand 'em.

My atomic fireball tastes nothing like it did when I first got it... Sadly, I don't have any other flavors at the moment that I can switch to, so I'm stuck with this "weird" tasting atomic fireball.. I'm sure it's just my tastebuds though.

Could be, Ramen. I dunno. I finally tried some other flavors on a different atty, and I can't taste much of anything after that AFB! I haven't heard anyone else say their AFB changed flavor, maybe you should float this in the Tasty Vapor sub-forum. If it's happened before, I'm sure someone there will have heard about it.
