Thanks everyone for the suggestions I'll give them a try. I really love my ecig and I've been smoke free for a week now, so I'm really hoping failing these suggestions another atomizer will do the trick.

Oh ya sorry I forgot to mention in my last post....does anyone know why somehow the cotton inside keeps getting sucked down into the atomizer...I think that might be part of the problem with the burning...but for the life of me I cant keep it up in the cartridge where it belongs
atomiser is getting to hot maybe, and is fusing with the cart material that it is in contact with for wicking purpose's. Try letting is cool down if it is hot to the touch it is hot enoiugh to fuse
