This is my first day using an e e cigarette, just bought it, the liquid I am using is 24mg nic and is vg based, does not have any flavorings in it. Is it normal? Perhaps thats how vg tastes.

Some clearos have a rubbery taste unless you wash them out first.
Or it could be a new flavor? Rubber Rush?

im not even sure what I have I bought if off a friend who orders this stuff in large quantities, it has "ego-t" written on it, thats it.

If it doesn't have Joyetech stamped on it.
It could be from anywhere.
I would try better juice and good clearos from a registered supplier.

Rubber rush - that might be better than that peach stuff I just dumped down the drain.

You might want to hit your friend up for a flavored juice and see how that tastes - or have someone else try your juice in their setup - then you'll know if it's the juice itself or your setup.
I'm a complete noob though, so maybe you just need to ignore me

I can't imagine unflavored liquid would taste very good to begin with. Unflavored is meant for DIY adding your own flavor, also you could be getting dry hits since I have never tried plain vg or pg

I only vape VG/Distilled Water blends or high VG/PG ratio.
Always 18 or 22 mg. Just got a few sample bottles from Vermillion River. They were basically free. But seem almost unvapable.
The flavors are good. But the PG level is too high for me.
They're also 10 mg.
My girlfriend also hates the taste of rubber.
The other new guy is right on the mark.

Just for you I went and tried plain vg it really has next to no taste I expected allot worse lol. Anyways vg is very thick so most likely your setup is having a hard time wicking properly so you are getting dry hits which would taste like burnt plastic chemically taste. If you want to go with plain vg the wicks will need to sit for awhile to soak up the thick liquid and give allot more time between hits I would imagine. I use 60/40 PG/vg and it wicks a little slow
