Tastebuds are funny things

A week or two ago I got a doubler order from TV with (among others) root beer float. I immediately disliked it.

First vape, I thought it must be a new Soy Sauce flavor. Second vape I could taste some sort of cake, maybe German Chocolate? Third vape I could imagine root beer and then, if I concentrated, I could also taste a cream aftertaste.

I ended up putting it in the "If the FDA Makes Me Go There " bin.

On a lark, I pulled the bottle out this evening and have been vaping on it all night. It's great! I'm wondering if the flavor is affected by things you've eaten? Maybe the Atomic Fireball deadened my root beer float buds the first time?

You might be rite. I got some atomic fireball today and it first tasted good but mild. I then went to tobacco flavor and that was mild compared to the atomic fireball and then back to atomic fireball and it seemed to be stronger. I have been switching all night and the atomic fireball seems to be getting stronger each time. whats up with this

It's funny, the German Chocolate Cake was "pretty good, not great" when I first tried it, so it got little use compared to my favorite flavors. Now a week or two later I break it out again and I love it. So I know what you mean.

ROFL, that is how I fell in love with Flue Cured Tobacco and other tobacco flavors, first is was YUCK, then it was YAY!!!!

I'm still trying to talk myself into ordering from TV, but have found that something I don't like right away...if i give it a full day of vaping (if i can stand it tastewise) I usually have a different opinion of it by the end of the day. Not always a good opinion mind you, but usually better than the first hour of vaping it.
