Hi,

Ok, I've been through just a few of the methods of repairing my sense of taste...and being a dripping atomizer addict I don't stay on one flavor too long. But rescently most tastes are muted, muttled or just not there. Is there any kind way to repair your taste buds? I'm open to all sugguestions less harsh chemicals or scrubbing with bleach (will consider it, but won't like it).

Thanks again, I appreciate any and all help on this one. :)

You can try to vape straight menthol eliquid. . No other flavor. I have done it and it worked for me. I vaped it for a few days and all was good

Jay

Tried that one....that killed tasing everything, but returned back to normal with still the issue I'm having. As a side note Methol has a wonderful effect of clearing up any sinus issues you may have :)

Drink a lot of water to keep hydrated.

Biotene mouthwash might help
Some people report that taking a swig of lime juice (the kind that comes in a little lime shaped plastic bottle)
Chew some cinnamon gum

I will try all of those, don't suspect that a combination of all three at once would do well ;). Thank you for the sugguestions.

Should own one already, but tongue scraper.

You know most of the tricks. You should also know that sometimes your taste buds just cry "Uncle."

Break out some juice you don't really care for and use it up until it tastes bad. Tastes bad = you can taste again. ;)

A really STRONG flavor like clove or menthol sometimes works for me too. But we're all different.

Actually, a tounge scraper is in short supply here...and the disguested look on the pharmacist face when I asked for one was Mastercard priceless moment awesome. I'll hit up my local CVS to see if they have one, I've heard from the grape vine that its a good place to locate one.
I wonder if baking soda toothpaste and brushing my tounge will help as well. Baking soda seems to nutrilize just about everything else, guess its worth a shot.

Atomic Fish from Elixir Liquid - American Made E-liquid & Electronic Cigarettes got me threw that phase. Or any cinnamon or strong menthol. Its a phase a lot of us go threw. You can try the remedy's but IMO it just takes time and you will one day get your juice taste back. I tried eating grapes, tong scraping, lemon juice, gallons of water, vaping from different sides of my mouth from AM to PM there is an endless stream of stuff like that in the end I found the strong cinnamon and every so often Id try something else and one day my taste returned just as mysteriously as it went away.

The other things are going to do more than a tongue scraper. Of course brushing your teeth and your tongue is always good hygiene. But, the main thing you need to do is hydrate and get your mouth to hydrate (salivate). That's what the Biotene, lime, and cinnamon gum essentially are doing is activating the salivary system.

Well, I've got a shopping list going...
Lime Juice
Cinnamon Gum
Biotene
And a tounge scraper....
I wonder what the cashier is going to think when I buy all this...sounds like something someone would by after a long day of being a party animal. :)

I'd do Cinnamon, but never really got down with the flavor (I avoided red-hots like a fiend as a kid). I can stand gum for a short bit but beyond that its not really good. I'll keep my hopes up this phase passes, I've got a IHybrid comming in and have high hopes of reaching flavor zen. :)
