Taxing ejuice?

I understand that the proposed New Mexico tax will be stupid high. Any idea that this will be on complete juices or will they tax ingredients?
Could shops separate the flavoring and sell a DIY kit?

This is the first I've heard about it. That just stinks. Politicians never seem to have a limit to what they will tax. They are always looking for that next thing to add on. Enough already. We are being taxed to death.

This is my personal opinion so take it for what it's worth, I don't think they will be able to tax anything except the nicotine. All of the other ingredients are being used in other industries.

So far the Feds have not started taxing ejuice or anything vaping related. Once the FDA gets involved that will change. A lot of these ejuice taxes we been hearing about are local city taxes. I heard a few weeks back Philly slapped a $5 per bottle tax on ejuice and Oklahoma has introduced legislation that includes vaping in tobacco tax.
People can get involved and put pressure on these elected officials to not tax anything vaping related simply by emailing them with your objections to these taxes as well as your success story on why vaping helped you.
