Yes that is pretty much what I have found at least as far as the funky taste goes. I tried it but it didn't take me too long to put it down.
Look around this forum and you will see many different ideas of matereials to try.
Funky taste here, too. I haven't found any cart mods out there without a funky taste. I've tried them all. Sticking to dripping and keeping an eye out.
Alright, so its not just me, what about the blue foam? The site I use for juice is selling precut blue foam for 50cents for 10 carts worth. Worth getting?
I'd try it, for less than a buck. But I wouldn't get my hopes up. That's the only one I haven't tried.
Alright cool, hey BTW, i see that you have not smoked for a long time, how do you smoke? Tail pipe, drirect drip, cart? What works best for you?
Direct drip. Just pull the empty cart off, drip a couple drops and put the empty cart back on. I use a 510 or a 901 atty. When I use my 401 I use a cart and the filler that came with it. That's my stealth or on the go e cig.

So weird - the PTB is the ONLY filler I DON'T get a funky taste from! Maybe it's the flavor from the tea? I know many people got the berry flavored. No, it has to be the pyramid type. Most Walmart Superstores seem to carry them. That's where I got mine and I live in a really small town.
Im using the "Lipton vanilla Caramel Truffle" right now and im also getting a bad taste from it... Maybe if I had a stronger flavored liquid I wouldnt notice it as much.
Can the tea bags be washed and dried before using? I purchased the Vanilla Caramel truffle bags but not so sure how it will work in a cartomizer. Im just waiting for the filling in one of my carts to go bad so i can experiment with it. Is it even possible to use in a cartomizer?
I rinse mine and then blot them dry with a paper towel. I have no idea if they will work in a cartamizer though. I mainly use the joye 510 model.
Pyramid gives you more material to work with, also, just started using it and it rocks! No tea flavor, great throat hit, plenty of vapor. Coming from polyfil to PTB, I reccomend it!
PTB is the only filler I have used that doesn't seem to give me a funny taste.

I found that the method of curling it around a toothpick, loosening it to make it a big bigger, folding it half, cutting it to the size of the cart, and then shredding the top half works best. Not sure who came up with that way of doing it, but they had a thread showing how.

I have been using Kristen's PTB with straw method and it seems the best for me.
