Good day everyone,

Have been out of town so a hearty late congratulations to Bovinia. A great addition to the team!

Now, it would seem that I've been given a 2cents Safe fuse in my absence. I know my Bpro does not need it but thought, what the heck, I have it. When using the fuse, the bottom cap spring seems very tight. It will completely screw on but there is a higher level of tension then I am comfortable with. Will using the 2cents Fuse damage the Bpro do to that tension? I searched around ECF but never found anything relevant.

There is no need for the fuse really BUT if it is tight like that you do risk pushing the PCB up and causing adjustment issues

Oh no my BP is broken :( I am pretty sure something burnt up, I put it down and started smelling a plastic odor saw a little smoke - I pulled the batteries and they weren't hot, but there was that smell of burnt plastic in the tube. My carto is fine ...and I tested the batteries (fine). New batteries inserted... no power. I am doing an alcohol bath, pretty sure it won't do any good, but it can't hurt at this point.
Is it worth sending in? Can it be fixed? Or should I just order a new one, it is a first batch BP (numbered under 500) so if it can be fixed or even rebuilt, I'd like to do that rather than get a new one. Help please :(

Oh no Minx! Yes it can be fixed...most likely needs a new PCB. I'm guessing it's out of the 6 month warranty, in which case it would be $35.00+shipping. Print, fill out and send in the RMA form with it. Make sure you add your contact info so that Terri can call you for payment arrangements or if she has any questions. RMA form

Sent this on Notcig site as a message as well.

My Buzz Pro #1351 fired for approximately 4 to 6 minutes today on it's own when I set it down and went into the restroom. It was firing when I came out and I immediately unscrewed the battery cap and removed the tank. It had spit hot juice everywhere out the top of the 510 Boge. The tank has melted it got so hot and now the unit will continuously fire when the cartomizer is attached without depressing the button. I swabbed the top cap with isoporyl alcohol and allowed it to dry and it still does the same thing.

My fault for not unscrewing the cap when left unattended, but any advice?

No sealed adapter. Took top cap off and completely disassembled and cleaned all parts in alcohol. Reassembled after dry and constant blue led when batteries in. Screw on a carto and it fires by itself. Took batts back out, swabbed top parts of threads inside I could see with a q-tip wet with alcohol and allowing to dry now.

Sorry, XMit, looks like you did all you can short of a complete alcohol dunk. Could be a stuck button, juice inside the button, or at worst, a fried PCB. Looks a a visit to the Buzz-pital is in order.

If you have the top cap completly off with and the red wire not attached, (red wire dangling and not touching anything), you can eliminate the top cap as being shorted out if your blue light isn't on.

Wrong forum area, not a notcigs product. Pick up a buzz pro or infinity pro, you'll have a good warranty and the top caps are designed to be replaceable :)

(If you can get a short 510 extender adapter on, that might get it working. Adapters are really smart to use with just about any mod.)

Arrggh! Dropped my VVpV at work and broke the side door (little pin snapped off) and shattered the pump bottle. Already ordered a replacement pump.

Bov,could you find out if there's going to be an option to order replacement doors? Not possible on the Notcigs website right now.
