Set your meter on the 20v setting, touch the red lead to the top cap screw and the black lead to the top or bottom cap, then push the fire button.

I understanf if you aren't comfortable opening it up, I'm thinking that the wire may be loose causing intermittent firing. Check and see if the top cap outer screw is tight. It needs to ne snug but not super tight.

Sounds like an LED has a bad solder joint , it is only an indicator and does not effect performance , up to you as to getting it fixed
Buzzkill, I'll just keep using it for a few days cause it is hittin well right now,and see how it goes but if something goes funky or decide to get blue led fixed is it alright to send back for repairs then?Is the warranty for 6 months? Thanks,Dale

I have one of the first original Infinitys, It stopped working one day so it was put away for awhile, then I read about alcohol baths and tried it, it fired back up but I cannot adjust voltage, its stuck at 6 volts. My question, is there a fix? If not can it be sent in for a repair, or is it obsolete and not repairable? Thanks for any information

Help!!! I was just puffing away on my Buzz Pro and it stopped firing so I figured it was time to change the batteries (I was comming up on 24 hours so no biggie). When I turned it over to unscrew the bottom cap it was just hanging there - the brass disk bitby itself. The threads are still nside the Buzz. I can't get the batteries out at all. I can't even turn the unit off. Seriously freaked out here.

OK the bottom cap came apart ! there is a PIN that is in the metal part this slides into a hole on the plastic threads , the screw goes through both parts .

Ok there is a hole in the plastic threads ( small one ) stick a pin in it and try to remove the threads then reassemble the bottom cap and tighten it real good ( nut inside )
