Hi, as my first post here is a question (take it easy haha)
I would like some guidance.

I am an advanced Vaper, and have a few mods and devices.
I have built a couple of devices on my own, all mechs.

But i recently got a few Turnigy 5000mah 40c 1s batteries. (google them to see what they look like)

I know they work for mech use, as they are 5000mah 40c CONSTANT (200a max) I have already tested one with a .4 ohm build and it works GREAT, fired for 10 seconds, and the battery was still cool.

My question is charging. I want to build this into a mod, with built in charging, but still keep it mech style.
I was thinking of using this board:
ADAFRUIT "USB/DC Lithium Polymer battery charger 5-12V - 3.7/4.2v cells"
It has a max charge of 1.2 amps. Which is well below the max charge rate of the battery (2A)

My question i this: Can i integrate the charger to charge the battery with a switch between the battery and charge board?
That would cut off the charge module from the battery for use.

or use this jack:
RadioShack "Size N Coaxial DC Power Jack w/Switch"
Which has a built in switch (wont be passthrough) and once i dissconnect the plug, it isolates the cahrging board from the battery, and leaves it just battery-switch-coil.

Basically, have a mech mod, with a smart charging circuit, but cut off from the battery when in vaping use?

Since i can't post links yet, and if you want, go to "bigtank29 dot imgur dot com slash all" to see my wiring diagram i have planned.
