Thanks Col. Gaunt!! I am always glad to hear someone is enjoying it as much as I am. A few words of advice though, read page 5 in the manual on charging also you need to keep the top of it clean because I have had someone who was pretty messy with their juice and it started to eat away at the epoxy on the inside that holds the adapter.

And Whisky they are $120.00 and always have been. The problem is they cost a lot to make and i end up putting almost 5 hours into each one. It is very hard to get all of that to fit inside of it, so I am sorry i don't think the price will change anytime so unless we can find some better prices and we are looking :)

But if you think about it... it is a whole kit on one unit, it has the charger, batteries, and device all in one unit, so really I would say the price is fair. And it can charge other devices such as cell phones and iPods, I don't think there is another mod out there that can do that ;)

Are these fine units built to order, or should we be patient and wait for them to appear on the website?

Sorry they are only on the website as of now, we are a little behind this time but hopefully they will be back in stock in a few weeks and after that we should have them stocked up every couple weeks... sorry about the wait.

I would like to know if you will ever be building these with a bottom feeder unit in them? or anykind of feed unit in them.?

Maybe, the only way I would be able to do that is to have it only run off from one battery... but... I don't know if the charging feature for the device and/or other devices would work anymore, so I am thinking not.
I actually had an idea to out something on the back to hold a juice bottle for a feeder but I think it would make it too big.

But I am working on a few new mods and when I am done those I am going to try and find a good case to make a good juicer from.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have a new way of making the top adapter stronger on the new batch coming next.

The unit is sealed and dripper friendly but you still need to make sure that juice doesn't get in the device. I have had a couple people send a mod back to me because they dropped it directly on the atomizer and when I took them apart to fix the adapters there was juice along the sides of the inside from them letting the juice flow off the top and down the side without cleaning it up. The adapter itself is completely sealed and around the adapter is completely sealed but the device itself is not sealed so please wipe any excess juice from the top of the device before it leaks into the device... the juice can cause more then one problem. The juice can short out circuitry and the nicotine in it can eat away at the epoxy. What I am doing to make the adapters stronger is going to seal the epoxy so that this is not an issue but they still need to be kept clean of juice.

Thanks guys!!!

Sorry guys I am away from my house for a couple days so I am checking messages from my relatives house.

chev, can you tell me a bit about the protection in the unit?

What exactly are you asking about. Like do you want to know if it will shut off it over drawn or if shorted out? I know if voltage spikes or if something gets crossed or "shorts" the unit's protection circuit will trip and shut it down completely. After it shuts off you need to plug it into the charger and that will reset the unit.

Hey Chev !

Wow..ive been working so much, i didnt even see this thread or Bruce's forum here !

The Tekkie mod continues to be a fantastic vaping machine and I'm still in love with it.

Hope everyone's week is a great one !

Hugs
Clumsy

Thanks Clumsy... makes me feel good every time you praise the Tekk ;)

Something coming your way very soon... had to go to Bangor for a couple days for my program (you know what, but not for anything bad ;) ) will be back on Saturday.

I agree with clumsy! I am still loving my Tek mod, especially the super long battery life! I have mine out fitted with an 801 atty and it hits my sweet spot just right!

Love doing business with Bruce! He has some really great products and his service is excellent!

Yes Bruce is a great guy and always takes care of anyone he deals with, he has always made a point to be as fair as possible. I wish all sellers were like this, buying this would be so much better.. lol

I am glad that you enjoy your Tekk Gaunt!!! Like I just told Clumsy I love to hear people enjoy it as much as I do, it is the only reason I started so people could enjoy the battery life and features... now it is the same but also to help with my bills... ;)

Thanks for your support guys and remember to go to the ideas thread and let me know what you want in a new mod to help me out with R&D.

There are variable voltage expensive versions of the TEKK Mod now.
Don't be fooled. They have very little voltage adjustment only a little over 1 volt.
Not low enough for Low Resistance Vaping.
For this you lose a lot!
The USB charger. This can power a passthru, phone and etc.
The comfortable horn button.
The perfect fit and finish.
The original and best made TEKK will be back in stock later this week at COV!
