I've been using the ego-t since January. It isn't my only PV but it serves its purpose very well. -- I've experienced no trouble with mine, and the only "con" I can gripe about is that it produces cooler vapor than a lot of my other gear does. I don't use it for any tobacco flavors because of the cooler vapor, but it's wonderful for my mint flavors and other sweet juices (root beer, black licorice... etc). My ego-t attys have been very consistent and they produce a lot of vapor.

The first pair of attys lasted me just a few days shy of 8 weeks before the wicks started to give up. I pulled out a replacement and it has been going strong since then. -- Sometime when I feel like fixing the first two, I'll do so. I have a few more still in the box, though, so it will probably be a few months before I feel like I should work on them.

The eGo T seems much better to me than the standard eGo. Mainly, the draw is much easier--doesn't feel like you're sucking through a small straw. The only problem is that it will leak once in a while, for no apparent reason.

I just tried the famous boge 2 ohm cartomizers and don't consider them as easy to draw as the T, but they're better than a standard eGo with carts.

I have a standard T (A version), but if I were you I'd try the LR version for more vapor, and also get the "B" version since it holds twice the juice and most say it doesn't leak as much, or at all. But, I have not tried these myself--just going on others comments. (Not sure if they have an LR B version.)

LR= low resistance

P.S. After reading the above it sounds too muted. To sum it up better, I think the T is MUCH better than the standard eGo ! No comparison !

the big problem with the ego T is that you can not, in no way shape or form from what I have read, vape a dark juice. I've tried to water mine down with pg and it doesn't seem to matter. It just can't handle it. Wasn't a problem with me untill I grew sicki of all my light fluids.
Also my (type A) attys have stopped working after a month. My LR atty after two weeks :(

Does the type B allow for better wicking so that dark fluids are possibe?

The B tanks are still only suited for the lighter, clearer type liquids. They work really, really well for that purpose. I am a menthol kinda gal, so my tank has Menthol Ice in it alllll day. When I come home, I can drip a few flavors for a dessert, and throw some Mrs. T's Banana's Foster Coffee in my REO. The tank is a keeper for me.

If I can ever get home in time to order a REO mini, that could change. But I do like the EGO T B tanks. They serve me well.

I have to be totally honest, I got my eGo-T maybe a month and a half ago. At first I loved it, but now I hardly use the tanks. I found that they clog really easily, no matter how thin a juice I used and no matter how well I clean it. You may have an easier time than me with that and I think you WILL love it at first, but I'm not positive how long that love will last. If you already have an eGo and it won't cost that much to upgrade, I recommend trying it... but I might not buy too many supplies at first.

Good luck!

I don't chase mods any more. The eGo-T "off-the-shelf" standard atty is crap becuase it doesn't get hot enough. The off-the-shelf LR atty delivers good vapors production for a while but not nearly long enough for me to keep spending money on them. Someone just posted info about the new Piper atty and I'm waiting to read more about it.

I had a leak issue with only 1 out of my 4 attys and it was with both dark and clear juice. I chain vape all day and night and have had no issues at all. I boiled them about once a week and always blow out the atty whenever I refill the cart. I'm going on 4 weeks rotating attys (2 LR), juices, and batteries and never had issues with mine. To me, the benefits outweigh the minor issues.

I have used all the T models - Type A / Type A LR .. Type B / Type B LR ... 510-T - I will disclaim this right now - when I say FLOODED I do not mean LEAKED. I mean the wick took in too much juice and it flooded, thereby producing a harsh taste, gurgling, and the need to blow out juice.

My conclusion follows:

The Original (and it may have been made better since this!!!) T.. which also would be a Type A .. sucked. Badly. I had a few and all of them wicked the juice terribly and gave a lot of problems. It worked on certain moon cycles or whatever and should be avoided in my opinion.

The Type A LR was a lot better but still flooded. Not nearly as much, but it still did. The vapor was better and a bit warmer, but being LR that means it uses more juice.

The Type B improved on the the type A design and held more liqiud, but still flood a bit. Not nearly the level of flooding as the Type A but it still happened. If you want to maintain an atty, it is acceptable.

The Type B LR worked really well. Not much flooding, great flavor and vapor and only an occasional blow out / cleaning. Again, being LR, uses more juice.

510-T .. this is the surprise. Since it is smaller and therefore cannot hold as much juice.... it does not flood! It is a pity that the cartridge hold only 15 drops or so. Its way better than prefilled cotton carts, or filling carts, and less annoying than dripping. Nice flavor and vapor. Had one for a few weeks and nowhere near the maitenence of any of the others.

I would suggest anyone wanting to try these to get a Type B LR and a 510-T ...

Just my opinion but meh with a normal atty and 100% VG juice I THINK it works really bad. The Ego-T with a LR atty performance way better, however with the time that I spend cleaning the tanks, attys etc and the way it performance with a normal atty I would give it a 5 out of 10. If I were you I rather get a Go-Go (has its own drawbacks) performance wise I think it is way better then the Ego-T.

Please note I am a newb and only own 3 PV's and only 1 month into vaping. Just saying I am the last person you should base your decision on. :)
