I am alone in this bunch it seems, but I've been using them for a month heavily without problems. I do have one that was starting to get wimpy, but I cleaned it and we'll see if it is still good.
That's a lot of time into a device... I prefer my method. Use for a week, stop using it, go back to devices that work more consistently with minimal maintenance.
Sorry but there are too many good devices out there to spend so much time on something that works sometimes. Maybe I'll try version 2.
Just to clarify, before I end up buying the wrong thing and poisoning myself, is this the correct kind of ambroid:

Never had a dry hit at 3.7v with these. I don't get why people think they need longer wicks... simple physics involved here. Capillary action, the wick is way thicker than CE2's so it needs to be shorter. By touching the walls, is always stay wet by capillary action unless you stand it up all the time (so you can knock it over easily) I don't get what the big deal is that you may have to tilt it once in a while to keep it wet: afraid of carpal tunnel?
They are not perfect, but what is? MAP tanks are great, but filling is their drawback, small as that is some may hate it, yet I can live with both and love them both.
