And when they show your favorite bands playing live on the local PBS stations. I love PBS stations, but was a little shocked the 1st time that happened to me
I knew I was old when the Beatles became elevator music!
Ah Fudgey you haven't been in an elevator lately have you. Our 80's music is now elevator music. It's scarry when you start to like the music they are playing in the elevators and recognize the songs.
After I left the house I did go to a Dead Head concert, but that was more like time travel than seeing a concert, it was just very strange. I felt like I was the only sober person left in the 60's. ( this was in the late 80's very early 90's, but everyone there was still living in the 60's)
I know this must sound crazy....I dont really listen to music...BUT I heard a RIHANNA song this morning on the TODAY show....it was called: S&M
It was wonderfull...reminded me of my old s&m days....sorry, some of us have a history...those ladies who understand will no just what I mean...
It was great. Listen to it!
However I want to see David Bowie still. I grew up listening to rock, everything from The Doors to Van Halen, and still adore a lot of the "classic rock" from the 60s and 70s.
