Thanks for the welcome girls! Happy to see a ladies area here!

I remember going to a Rod Stewart concert in the early 80's, and we managed to get right up to the stage. Everyone was pushing and shoving, and my roomate passed out. She felt so bad that I stayed with her and we pretty much missed the whole thing. No big deal cause I wasn't like a frantic Rod fan anyway.

One of the biggest surprises for me was enjoying the Barry Manilow concert I went to in the 70's. He was pretty good live!

I like it when that happens - seeing performers you don't expect to be crazy about. I saw Alice Cooper on a lark when I was about 16; I still remember it as one of the best concerts I've ever seen. It was quite a theatrical production with ballet and a small chamber orchestra, along with the snakes and guillotine. Wild!

Kiss and the Rockets at Olympia Stadium in 78, damn is was awesome!!! I have seen 300+ concerts since then, I just got back from the Smashing Pumpkins as I write this. I'm only 40 but hey, I had cool brothers and sisters that took me to awesome concerts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's to 41 next saturday!

Seen a few great concerts over the years but some of my favorites are;

Elton John & Billy Joel's Piano Tour -They played for hours!
Tina Turner 1988-89? (she has so much energy)
