Temp control / nickel builds

Just gonna say it, I'm not a fan. Maybe once I grab a snow wolf or something. I'm not all that keen on temp control or using nickel.

Flavor is great but it's really finicky working with nickel, I think I like a denser and warmer vape that I get with kanthal and Nichrome.

To be fair I did a dual twisted nickel build but even still it wasn't quite what I was looking for.

Store bought nickel coils are great but homemade has been awkward.

You might look into one of the nickle purity mods where you would have the ability to use any type wire for TC.
This would allow you to wrap 28 ga Ni200 to 32 ga kanthal or 36 ga nichrome to make a clapton and should yield pretty good if not exactly to what your looking for.

I just think you need to learn how to use temperature control mods. I have no problem producing the same heat and vapor from a TC coil as I get from a Kanthal coil, and I much prefer the cleaner flavor of the TC coils.

If you're getting a warmer vape from your kanthal then you're simply running your temperature control settings too low with the nickel. Turn the heat up.
